IMO Gws could be after Daniel Cross as a potential playing assistant coach like they did with Luke Power and Chad Cornes last year and dean brogan this year. He would add depth to the list and could play as a hard man with good skills off half back.

Also Nick Dal Santo to Gws would be a good pick up. Has elite skills and also would be great coming off half back or through the middle.

If I ever see Daniel Cross in another AFL teams guernsey I'll be sick. Bleeds for the club.

Lots think next year he will captain the new VFL team.

Would any of these ooc players interest other clubs? Obviously a bunch I'd like to keep but just for discussions sake.

Taylor Adams the only one on that list likely to get much attention. I think just about any Victorian side would put their hands up for the kid, teams in a "rebuilding" stage likely to offer more. Saints, Demons, Bulldogs, would all be interested parties. Can imagine Essendon, Hawks, Geelong all making significant plays too. Wouldn't mind North taking a shot either.

Regarding earlier discussion of Levi Greenwood - okay, suggesting second/first round was a bit cheeky :p Could be determined by the remainder of the season. If he gets a chance in the senior side and can hold a spot then we'd keep him. That's unlikely given we have a significant number of players in his role to start with. Really, it's a shame he hasn't gotten his chance during the Ziebell suspension - maybe he will against Freo after our poor showing last week. Probably more likely is that he won't get a game and will request a trade so he can get more chances. I'd hate to see us trade him away for something crummy like a fourth or fifth round pick - what's the use? Instead aim to get a different fringe player in return. I can definitely see Greenwood to the Bulldogs for Markovic. Scotty was talking up a bit before we went into the Bulldogs game.

With regards to Luke Delaney - maybe the Giants would be interested, if they can't get someone like Frawley. Don't know what we'd be asking for in exchange though.

My preference is always for our players to stay with the club, for depth if for nothing else. Realistically though, if there's interest from other clubs, and they're not getting a game with us, they'll likely go to where the need is greater simply so they can get on field. We lost a few guys, like Cam Pedersen, to this last year and I wouldn't be surprised if it happened again. Disappointed, maybe, but not surprised.

Sin City, what's the go with Laidler? I heard he's playing forward in the two's. Could he want a move if that continues?

Currently playing in the forward in the VFL, and by all accounts his playing fairly well.

Smarts are still there. Just a yard short on pace atm but i suppose it's to be expected after doing 3 knees last season.

What would Miles or Aylett be worth?

He has stated that he would like to take up coaching position at an afl club in the near future, I believe this would be a good way for him to do that when he still has some playing ability to offer. But I do agree he is a bulldog through and through

I like those 3. Adams would probably command a first rounder in the teens.

Haynes maybe a 2nd rounder. Bruce would make a perfect project tall to sit on for a couple of seasons, would be great rookie pickup if he were to get delisted (probably doubtful though)

Maybe seconder rounder + Delaney??

Jed Is a good player, But there is just no way he can break into our midfield ATM..

I would take that personally. Although I'm sure many would not be overly keen on reducing our KPP stocks.

The probability that he'll flourish at Sydney irks me a bit as well. :p

Lobbe for Ryder.
Gray for Jetta.
Young for Pears.
Pittard for Hooker.

All wishful thinking.

Sam Darley was all the rage last season. Thought to be a really good youngster. Could get opportunities and probably would come cheaper than would be expected

The Giants and Demons are best mates at the trade table now.

Neither one of us are likely to want Boyd, but the two teams directly below us will be desperate. Can see a trade happening.

A few of those are a chance at being delisted at the end of the year simply because of the overflow of talent already at GWS, wouldn't mind packaging our first and second round picks for a combination of them, really rate Josh Bruce.

With the others, the injuries to Growden have been shocking, was reallly rated as a junior and Nick Haynes would have to be the biggest drafting mistake GWS has made, I was stunned when you guys used pick 7 on him and passed on Billy Longer.

GWS are very keen on a quality ruckman and i believe their is an obvious swap that would suit both parties.

Carlton have too many ruckman and none of them are really suited to play as key forwards. I think the blues should offer Matthew Kreuzer and a second rounder to GWS for pick 1. The blues could then pick Tom Boyd and Warnock and Hampson could play in their preferred spot as a ruckman.
