Agreed, he was a Melbourne supporter too. Don't really want Thomas on big money tbh, sounds like his ankle's rooted.Lucky he said no. You could nearly land Dale Thomas for that

He's not worth that!Steele Sidebottom for whatever we can ****in get for him, tbh at this stage i'd probably take a used condom.

Depends on who blew in the condomYou're right a used condom is probably overs for him,

Still worth a first round pickI haven't watched a lot of Pies games this year, where's he at?
Would of happily given a first round pick for him 18 months ago.
Yes agree somewhere between 14-18Still worth a first round pick

We have loads of "best 22 defenders" (Fisher, Dempster, Gilbert, Gwilt, Roberton, Stanley, Simpkin, Geary, Wright, hopefully a Brown/Frawley type next year, plus the back flank is a good place to introduce some of the younger ones), but the two that might fit the bill well are Gilbert (who I believe you were interested in last year) and Gwilt.I honestly don't see gws trading off pick 1. But are there any best 22 defenders not necessarily KPD that could be snagged with picks 10 and 20? Obviously my want for mackie has been stated but what other players from other teams are available. Preferably between the ages of 22-28
Personally feel that pick 1 is for NN level players (obviously need more then 1 for NN) and not for stopgaps. Pick 10/20 are for the frawley and Mitch brown(wce) level players respectively.
The Bulldogs met with the Giants recently and signalled strong interest in purchasing the rights to Boyd via the No.1 pick.
A Dogs-Giants deal wouldn't be difficult, because it would involve no more than the Dogs swapping from pick No.3 or 4 to pick No.1 (again, we assume the Demons aren't 18th).
The Dogs wouldn't need to part with as much, because pick three is worth far more than Carlton's eventual pick. Therefore, it behoves the Blues to be daring. Kreuzer and Yarran have the currency to trump the Dogs, the Lions and probably most clubs, particularly if the Giants keep Carlton's first pick.

My Personal "Wish List" for West Coast is as follows;
- Jaeger O'Meara from the Suns (would trade anything for him... except Kennedy, Naitanui, Darling, LeCras or Masten or Selwood)
So if GWS said they'd give you the #1 pick for Kreuzer alone, would you say no?Kreuzer is rated so highly within the club, and has the respect of every player. I can see where Jake Niall is coming from, but I doubt the club would be willing to part with Kreuzer.
Kreuzer is better around the ground and up forward than both Hampson and Warnock. Warnock would shade Kreuzer at the centre square bounces. IMO, think we'd be giving up too much for the No.1 selection.
While your at it swans will give their first rounder for Yarran Mick doesn't seem to like him.Kreuzer and 1st rounder would do it (although Carlton paying overs). The Yarran option wont not sure he has the same appeal as a Kreuzer
