I think we are a better prospect than the Pies atm. Shit is going down behind the scenes at that club, something is not right. Players and people in the industry would know what's up. Why would you go there? They look to be on the slide too.

Wouldn't say that we are more attractive just yet. I would suspect he is more open to going to a successful organization with brilliant midfielders he can learn off than us, unless our offer is significantly better.

I'm sure Couch has re signed a week or so ago. But I too heard we spoke to the crows about him and Sloane a few weeks before that so I've no problem with that rumour, just doesn't seem like its going to happen now. I'm glad we at least asked the question as those two guys are terrific players.

Regarding Nahas. I personally don't want him but if Roos did (and no one has said he has, just hypothetically) than I'd back him here. Remember Roos and the swans are famous for turning players careers around.

I disagree. Roos' reputation is MASSIVE within the AFL - especially for players wanting to get the absolute most out of themselves

After 1 year at Sydney, Roos was able to land Jolly, who was crucial to their flag, the following, he was able to land Richards (who also played a big part in their flag); the following year he got Everitt

Subsequently, he was able to land Mattner, Playfair, Seaby, Kennedy, McGlynn, Seaby

Yeah, something strange is happening at Collingwood. The head of the FD leaves, the head of fitness leaves and noone raises a whimper? A bunch of players considered key just get shafted like nothing is wrong? A 173-game, Father/son player just seems to all of a sudden be leaving?

That said, it could be worse. They could be Brisbane. No coach, no board. Everyone wants out of there it seems.

Jesus Christ, I'm all for supporting a team but to say Melbourne is a better prospect than a team that has 2 of the top 5-8 mids, another top 10 possibility in Beams, and one of the premier power forwards, is stupid.

Also looks like Dane Swan might be on the outer also, saw a rumour today on a footy rumour Facebook page that apparently the Pies will be willing to trade Swan off for pick #1.

Would you guys want Swan at Melbourne if we got the #1 pick? (I personally don't see us getting it though, however, anything's possible)
