This game is making me tear my hair out.
Port should be winning easily. I expect them to get a roll on in the second half.
But god Butcher is shit. And Pittard has cost them at least 4 goals all by himself. Must be excruciating for tealster fans.

Tipped Port because I thought they were the fitter team and would just run over the top of Carlton in the second half. Signs were there late in the 2nd.

Had Power kicked straight it would be far different game, they have missed some simple set shots.

They will kick 4 goals to 2 in the 3rd and then 5 goals to 1 in the 4th.

That was the recent part of the game, Carlton missed quite a few earlier..
Carlton have been better for longer so far but I expect Port to run over them..

They have though jagged some unbelievable goals though.
we will find out soon enough whether Port's fitness is fact or fiction
Just watching port the thing which strikes me is their capacity to almost "manage" a game.
By this I mean they seem stay in games for periods and then flick a switch and score at will.
Like they conserve run for periods and then have designated periods where they just run manically.
Last year it was last quarters, this year it's second quarters.
Either it's strategic or they are just needing more fitness.

It never did against us when he coached Collingwood.
They would always beat us up in the second half.
Dale Thomas has done FA
Thomas, Murphy, Gibbs, Garlett, Simpson and Yarren are all front runners
Carlton have an ordinary midfield
He looks fat and underdone

Port getting up on Carlton and a frustrated malthouse is pretty enjoyable this early in the season.
