Seemed to really enjoy the Arizona trip last year, no surprise they are looking to go again.

Hopefully we can get even more players across this year.
I think Burton should be given massive credit for turning the team from final quarter fade outs to final quarter come backs. We seem to be a really match fit team, which is even more commendable given how young the list is. I am already excited for next year with another preseason into the boys.

Let's hope the supposed increase in football department funding results in this being feasible. Would be a boost for Polec's first proper season.

I have been to a few soccer games over the last couple of years - but I get invited by a mate in the main corporate box so while I get good company (the mate) and ok food (free drinks and nibblies) I have to go in a tie etc ...

Last time I was there I ran into Gary Ablett at a petrol station, I was wearing a Lions polo. He had a laugh.

Would love to see Rocky/Redden/Polec etc, gain 4-5kg each. Way to skinny to be the core midfield group, they may even be the skinniest in the AFL as a 1st choice midfield.

Even though he is the heaviest of the three, I think Polec really needs to add the most weight. I would like to see Polec become a bit like Josh Kennedy, Rocky become like Moloney and Redden become a like Judd in terms of body sizes

I was living with my parents at the time I decided to do it, so I had a lot of spare cash lying around. Then my employer FINALLY got around to giving me the transfer to Brisbane I always wanted, so now I'm paying rent and stuff and there's no way I could afford it now.

You have just been to every game in the season and from your reports often on the same plane as the players etc ... did any of their wives/partners/gfs also make these trips or was it generally the boys only?

Only really ever saw the boys when I flew with them, then again I didn't pay them too much attention seeing as most of the time they'd lost. Losers.
