Awesome win by Doggies over Heidelberg. Another fadeout for the Bergers & North wanted it more in the end. Ok probably had a few out but Doggies best side was probably short by five.

Failed to mention in initial post that North had two blokes - Buchanan & Gleeson that played a full game in the 3s earlier in the day & backed up later & both were influential in the win. North 2s also won which was a 25 goal turn around from earlier in season. Something smelly at Warringal Park.

Maybe look at team lists pal and see where reserves are sitting and who played to who will play in FINALS and you might see it's not as bad as you think...

And to top it off norf had a couple of blokes out there doing things to YOUNG blokes that is UNACCEPTABLE in all grades of footy behind and off the play but I suppose that's why norf are on the bottom in ALL 3 GRADES

Never going to knock a team that has sustained success at the top of the tree for such a long period of time. Still a great club and they will be back no doubt to relaunch in 2016.

On the flip side, it's great to see teams that have come through Premierships in the D2 system, building their success on the back of wonderful Junior programs ( and codus to Bundoora & Eltham who also seem to have some great talent coming through their system)

Selection at Heidelberg will be very interesting. As there is about 8 players that played seniors last week, still able to play reserves finals. A couple including a former bnf winner cant play another 1's if they want to still qualify.
There has been plenty of talk late in the year about injuries at the Berg. Are any of them coming back at the moment and could play the finals series in the ressies, much like 2013 with the likes of Logie, Dorbolo, Crispe & Young?

any truth to the rumour that the heidelberg coach is planning a game of cricket for the boys on thursday night instead of normal training?

makes sense to finish the year with something fun & different.

Who is the former bnf winner ?

Sorry, missed the boat on this one. Was meaning Cosgriff, was mentioned at the Lower that he might have qualified. Turns out the truth serum was not being dispensed from the carlton draught tap.
We're going from strength to strength on here, the top 5 looks set and with a very interesting finals series about to get underway with two standout sides and three that with a bit of luck could do a bit of damage and all the talk is "who qualify to play for Heidelberg Reserves". Who cares ?

Sorry mate. Lets all sit here in silence shall we?
Why dont you raise a question to the masses or ask if players have been paid or even talk about the final 5. Some banter is better than nothing.
I would find it hard to believe that this forum is filled with players who only play one's. This forum is for supporters of the clubs in Division 1 of the NFL. Supporters that take an interest in the club, from 19's to Seniors.
Forgive me for breaking the past 22 hours of nothingness.

Don't take any notice of Blowfly....he has barely contributed to this thread all year....must be sucking cans down in Division 3

Looking forward to a massive finals series in both seniors and reserves. If Heidelberg qualify a number of blokes for the reserves then good luck to them. Playing to their advantage. I still think Eltham would win as they have a full list to choose from as both teams will be playing on that weekend.

Greensborough probably favourites to win the flag in both grades which is a massive achievement if they can pull it off.

Must also add that WPL will have to do some serious recruiting to avoid the drop next year. How many losses in a row now?

I cant help but hope now that the Berg is out, that Macleod win the big big dance. Shows the state of our league that if the Roos can get up, that in the past 7 years we would have had 6 different premiers. Not many leagues in the land can match the evenness.
In the big dance, got to be on the HFC.
In the little big dance, going with the Greensborough football factory.
