More a tank I would have thought.
It's forecast to be 32 now??
Was 26 originally and has been jumping up 2 degrees every day. Will be 40 degrees by game day at this rate!
The BOM website still says 28 degrees and with most of the heat hitting early arvo it shouldn't be that big a deal by the opening bounce and later in the game.
I reckon the week after playing in the heat or a wet slog is when it hits players. At the time they should be relatively fresh and well hydrated going in. Replenishing energy and stored water in the body during recovery is the issue. But no next week unless we draw so shouldn't be an issue.
Hodge not training worries me massively. He was terrible in 2012.

did a 45min session yesterday so was due for a lighter session, which he had.And apparently Gunston didn't train with main group either
Did a fitness test yesterday. They're now waiting until Thursday to see how he recovers from that. If he hasn't pulled up well he'll likely be confirmed as out and if he does pull up well then he'll under go another fitness test and the final call will be made Friday/Saturday morning depending on how he pulls up from that one.And apparently Gunston didn't train with main group either
Yeah that's the other thing, set up for a mark at left half back say and then have Gibbo steam past for a release kick out to the right wing. You can do that at the G with the extra space while you can't at Subiaco.
Typical article out of the West today. Impassioned reasons maybe - but by **** they are tenuously supported by real facts - stretched to be truths.

I'm very confident about this...
Last year I wasn't...this year I am.
Nervous but confident.
This is going to be epic if we win.
Yeah, Walls commentary was somewhat cringe worthy - the West article was WTFTo be fair, The Age did run with a very similar story the other way around yesterday. It's all just clickbait.
