I see no reason why at age 3 Pav's son shouldn't be right to lead our forward line
Much cheaper ways to get a drink.
I reckon if you cross Ross, like Gerard did, you have made an enemy for a long time.
I am not sure about articles he wrote but he was scathing of Ross' signing with Freo on AFL360. It went on for days too.
So you're saying it was nearly another, nearly another great mark. .......( think about it.)
A bit of talk after 6 day breaks, here are our losses after 6 day break under RTB, personally I think it is mental, tomorrow for example we are playing Richmond which is on the back of consecutive 6 day breaks including two weeks ago travelling to Port - not as big a deal on a 1 hr flight but still a tough schedule. We are 12-10 overall including 3 wins this season.
For 2012 we were 3-3 with losses against;
vs Adel SF 2012 (2nd away game in a row, obviously 2 finals travelling was always gonna be a big ask)
vs Adel rd 10 2012 (2 home games in a row prior to this so shouldn't have mattered)
vs Hawks rd 8 2012 (a much better team than us, away from home)
2013 we were 4-2 with losses against;
vs Ess rd 3 2013 (everyone remembers this one, second half fade out)
vs Geel rd 14 2013 (from memory the team we sent over for this was quite average and we lost players during the game to injury and had to keep them out there)
2014 we were 2-5 with losses against;
vs Hawks rd 3 2014 (didn't come to play, copped some injuries too, a rough night but considering it was rd 3 probably no excuse)
vs Syd rd 5 2014 (a top team, was always gonna be tough, the Essendon game in rd4 the week before was a hot one though)
vs North rd 6 2014 (consecutive 6 day breaks against good quality teams, we led most of the day here)
vs Port rd 8 2014 (after a derby, this one probably hurt due to them running us ragged in the 4th qtr)
vs Stk rd 18 2014 (the worst game we have had in 4 seasons, not sure the break cost us considering the week before we had GWS)

Made a post on this a few months back on the main board and despite only losing 2 home games in the 2013-2014 seasons we lost the FK count in the majority of those games. It's an anomaly that's for sure.
Probably NicNat. He's just landed back on earth after finally taking a hanger.
Did he say it in a conciliatory tone? Gerard seems to have softened his stance a bit lately, probably because he realises he stuffed up.

Nuh, still refuses to give us any credit. Looks stupid really, waxing lyrical about any side that strings a couple of wins together, while stonily silent about the side that's 9-0! If we lose a couple in the second half, he'll chirp up. Utterly without credibility on anything to do with Geelong or Fremantle, for opposite reasons.
We just need one of our players to change his name to Black Caviar, and Gerard will be all over us.
Very likely but I think with Ross, Gerard has most probably burnt the bridge.

More than anything, the thing Gerard would regret is the damage that such an outburst has done to his own brand, ironically. I'm still a fan of his in many ways but he's definitely lowered his colours.

Wow wasn't expecting this at all. Congratulations to the champ... a first for Freo...one of many firsts this year??
And congrats to Austin Robertson Jr a well deserved and long overdue admission to the hall of fame. Now if we can just get Bernie Naylor in then we might shut up for a while.

Just watched "On the couch" from this week. Apart from Fyfe, did no one else from our team play? It seems all copy was just Fyfe v Danger (which is great) or how great the Crows were and what they did right. I mean, I get that they punched above their weight with their outs - but it would be nice to get some credit for working our asses off and... I don't know, winning the game, maybe?
