While I've believed the club when they have said they think we are right for inside mids, I've never been truly convinced (mostly based on how poor our inside work can be). As such, I think Matt Crouch could be a valuable addition for the right price. If paying him a bit more $ than he's currently worth gets him for our 2nd I'd be interested.

I'm not sure what it'd mean for Ross/Dunstan etc. Maybe if it allowed us to trade next years 2nd and Ross for Carlisle it could yield some extra value, but I'm really not sure about the whole thing. It seems like pretty unlikely rumor to me.

Surely the writing is on the wall for Farren Ray. I can't see how a near 30 year old who can't get a regular game keeps his spot on the list.

I'd throw him in with Simpkin, White and Siposs as almost definite delistings. Probably need to find at least one more or a trade.

I think Farren could get another year just as depth in case a few older heads get injured and they want some experience in the middle. But I also can see him getting delisted. We still have Joey and now Armo and Steven are older heads as well. Plus Seb Ross isn't a youngster anymore, or Jack Newnes. They're not old heads but they've seen enough now to know what's expected.

I think we can all agree re: Simpkin, Sipposs, and Spencer though. A real shame about Spencer, 12 months ago things seemed so promising.
