I like Cegs, and he is developing nicely, but Minson has more runs on the board. If we could get Minson cheap, 3rd rounder, then he should come on to the list.

Compensation picks were never meant to be fair, it's an equalisation measure

Carlton are pushing him out the door to get a pick that makes them substantially better off than keeping him. It also punishes Brisbane by moving their pick 2 to pick 3 and thus missing out on one of the two gun kpp in the draft. It's a shit system. Compo should be scrapped. Kreuzer is not worth anything like pick 2. Not even sure 500k should warrant band 1 either

Kreuzer is a great player but he is never on the park and I cant see how that is going to change.
Carlton are playing the system but I am not sure what Collingwood is getting out of it. For someone with Kreuzers injury history I am not sure 500k per season is a great idea.

Pies going a good job getting their midfield sorted:

Sidebottom / Adams / Crisp / Pendlebury / Greenwood/ Treloar

Still relatively new/untried but talented high draft picks in Freeman and De Goey.

Take into account they have played kids for the second half of the season. They will end up with a few early picks as well.

Tipping they will be hard to beat in the next few years especially if Moore comes on.

There you have it. I think the comments are a bit ambiguous and leave room for us to still go after a player who nominates us as a destination. If Harley wants to come here and the price is right then I don't think the club would just ignore it. But that's a couple of occasions that Fox has said we won't be active. Oh well, didn't harm Richmond any last year to just go to the draft - maybe we've got some irons in the fire for the 2016 off-season.

I agree, there is not even a quote from anyone at the club so I don't know how they think they can report that, its certainly not journalism in any form.

Exactly. I think people are missing the fact that we lost buddy, and effectively gained McEvoy and Frawley
