Would Carlisle agree to come to us after settling on St Kilda? There's still plenty of trade period of for St Kilda to come around to trading pick 5.

Also Carlisle claimed the whole reason he wanted to go to St Kilda was so that he could come through at the bottom and help a young side reach a flag rather than join a Hawthorn who are already established. The possibility that he could serve a drugs ban, and that he's a apparently a massive flog aside, do we really want a player whose motivation isn't aligned with ours and never had his heart set on joining us?

I agree he'll be a good pick up if he comes and will have more of an immediate impact on our 2016 chances than Anderson likely could. Just mildly concerned about Carlisle's motivations not aligning with Hawthorns or that it's just a cover for his real motivation (ie. money).

I trust that if Clarko speaks to him that the right decision will be reached.
