Essendon's drafting also started at 26 last year and they went ok with that too
Yep, Merrett and Fantasia looks a good draft so far.

Dry your eyes petal.

Once you come to terms with the fact we'll finish higher than you yet again you'll be better off.

9 defenders...... pffft we've never played liked that. Don't need to be good at clearances when playing a side like Carlton, they'll gleefully just give you the ball with their poor skills:)
Completely irrelevant to what you originally posted lad, nice try though

Your midfield is below poo level and picking on ours as a means to justify spoon contention does you no favours.

Well at least that's a somewhat realistic target. Waite kicked 29 goals in 14 games so it's not unreasonable for Jones to kick 29 in 24 games. He'd have to dramatically improve his output, given his best season to date still falls comfortably short of that. And he now won't have guns like Cooney and Griffen delivering him the ball (not that he would have at the Dogs anymore anyway but that's beside the point).

This is why Carlton are in with a shot for the spoon. Simply no goalkicking firepower in attack.
Jones is a confidence player who's best years are still to come, 29 goals from 22 games isn't asking for much.

If anything it was 2014 we had no targets with Waite missing half the year, casboult in the ruck and henderson labouring with injuries there were times in games we consistantly had zero tall targets. How that could be any worse with the injection of Jones, jaschks and kruezer is a brave call imo.

True, Jones must of been very low on confidence after all the bullying he had to endor while with the dogs. Poor bloke.

Your coach couldn't get his players on board and Jones was in and out of the side all year, couldn't give two hoots about any bullying

Our midfield is better than yours.......

If he's a confidence player you'd think after kicking four against Collingwood he'd come out the next week and at least compete. Not get subbed out at 3QT with one handpass to his name (against Melbourne of all teams). Thankfully we still won that game.

He's not a confidence player, he's consistently below par but can have the occasional good game when things go right.

Voted for St Kilda, their list is still too green. Mind you the only thing stopping me voting for Carlton is Malthouse, the old so and so seems to find cunning ways of beating my team for one. Their list is looking pretty thin.

Lol at Collingwood winning the wooden spoon, they're about 50:50 at best for finals IMO but in no way are they wooden spoon material.

Our midfield is better than yours.......

I'd say ours matches up pretty well with yours. Head to head at least.

Geelong's midfield isn't exactly awe-inspiring against teams with decent inside mids e.g Freo

Geelong's stronger spine and a bit of luck has been the difference in our recent games against the Cats.

I rate Geelong's as better. Selwood, Duncan, Johnson, Caddy and Guthrie is a better starting 5 than Judd, Murphy, Gibbs, Curnow and Thomas nowadays, and I'd take Horlin-Smith, Kelly, Murdoch, Stokes and Motlop ahead of Tutt, Bell, Graham, Everitt and Carrazzo.

With Liberatore out for the year, the Bulldogs are a lock for bottom 4.
I'd almost go as far to say they'll finish up as runners up for the spoon. No club can afford to lose their #1 clearance player for the season, let alone a club that was already going to be fighting to finish outside the bottom 6.

All those teams have plenty of talent and most importantly improvement in them, it wouldn't surprise to see all three of them contest for a finals spot. I'd back the reverse outcome.
They say just about every team has plaenty of talent but those teams still fail. I could go either way. they could be in the finals and competing or they could drop to the bottom 4. Nobody knows.

I'd say it would be more like Cripps, Menzel, Docherty, Everitt with Curnow/Carazzo as our taggers.

Graham, Bell, Whiley and potentially Buckley around there as well and I'm not fuss for Tutt.

Simpson would be in our top five as well.

Simpson plays off HB, doesn't he?

We dominate Geelong's midfield when we play them so I'd take your opinion with a grain of salt, its been the gap in kpp stocks that stopped us winning both games last year.
