Almost worth recruiting Bail so we can delist him again.

I reckon someone could give us #40 for Dawes if there was enough competition.

Good call on Grimes, forgot about that.

Dunn won't get another chance, we'll draft some young backs and probably keep Garland.

Literally no chance Dawes gets us a decent pick. In face I'd guess clubs will wait till we delist him and grab him as a DFA.

Every chance we keep Dunn as depth or another club trades for him. Played really well at VFL level and a club needing a lockdown KPD might be interested.

I've heard Pedo will be gone next year...

I've heard it too, mainly off other supporters that have no idea. (not pointing my finger at you - Talking about the facebook knobs)
I left all the mfc facebook groups, not great places (and I was a dick when I discussed with people on there)
But yeah, it's not an online rumour. I'm fairly certain he's been made an offer to go elsewhere, not sure if he will take it up

Would be fairly annoyed if we can't/don't hang onto Pedo.
Agree with DemonTim those Demon FB pages are out of control and I too got into many a stoush with the eggs on them before deleting them all.
So did I. And I was admin hahaha. Got death threats in my inbox on them

Yeah righto mate.
Nah i know the name of the bloke who canned me and it wasn't Smithy!
I could roll off a list of who it probably was but won't haha
I was banned from all but one

My take would be,

Fringe players who should be traded for at least a late upgrade to get them to a new destination:

Dawes papers are stamped with Weideman arriving

Garland, called it late last year, he just isn't the player he used to be, and isn't in our future plans.

Lumumba is potentially retire if his head issues are serious, otherwise he stays.

Peterson should stay as he is better than Dawes and our third best talk forward, (watts is a third tall)

Delist: Terlich, Ben Newton, Viv Michie all cooked and not up to it.

Lucky to stay

Mitch White may be considered unrequired should be kept if we lose both Dunn and Garland.

Max King might get a year if we think we need to keep 4 rucks.

JKH looked to bounce back from injury late in the year, still think he has something to give, just not sure that is breaking into the AFL team.

Players that will stay but need to prove they are AFL standard.

Harmes, terrible decision maker and kick, can't make it long term unless this improves.

Hullet is way down in terms of forwards at Melbourne which isn't a good sign.

ANB needs to play a good AFL game, can't keep good VFL players for long just clog lists, hate to say it.

Trengove will get longer than most but again needs to show his true ability with a full AFL preseason.

Kennedy second chances only last so long, I like him and think he has some weapons, just needs to play closer to his best for longer.

Wagner will be competing with Salem, Melkshem and maybe Hibberd or Trengove next year, so not going to be any easier or in demand.

Matt Jones is a good 35th man but not a damaging AFL player, butchers the ball and makes bad decisions every game, we can't be good while he is best 22.

Bugg is safer than many but also will be competing with a better Trengove, Melkshem and Salem next year, good enough depth.

Most other players have done enough to stay a year or two.

Do you watch much VFL mate? Some pretty harsh calls

Nah tbh I don't,

We haven't played finals in a decade, didn't think anything I said was super ground breaking.

The list we have isn't going to deliver us a premiership imo not the names I previously mentioned anyway.

Fully understand some of them have talent just think that if you haven't broken into our team or played well over the last 2-3 years suggests that your time may be running out.

Was more talking about judgements on players like hullett, Wagner, Kennedy, ANB. You seem to go light on King for some reason

All I said was I think they need to take the next step if they will make it.

King gets an easier run as he is a Ruck

"Hullett is way down in terms of forwards at Melbourne which isn't a good side" - he had actually showed more than weid most of the year. Had a few niggles and missed a few games. First year forward and not a first round pick. He's showed nothing but good signs so far

King is stuck in the development side, hasn't set the world alight and is on the last year of his rookie deal. Unless we pick him in the draft or re rookie him, he's gone
