Controversial opinion: Adelaide should have traded two 1st rounders for Bryce. It is way overs but he's contracted until 2019, so Carlton can just ask for 2 1st rounders again next year. If they pull the trigger, they get a decent midfielder in an area which they are deficient in. If Adelaide want to win a flag, then they are going to need more players who can push through the guts.

Pull the trigger now and they can get 100-110 games out of a very durable mid right when their forwards are at their peak. Furthermore, there is no guarantee that the players picked this year will come good.
One year time a lot of thing change they might be somebody better in a cheaper price.

Gibbs if he is fyfe age worth two first round but he is 27 or 28 .

Wow if barlow going to adelaide , part of me will be supporting them . Instead of gibbs , barlow might win a flag with crows. if freo somehow get into GF in 2017 then my heart turn back to freo :D

I'll have a second favourite team in Adelaide too, if Barlow ends up there. Hope he gets 2-3 years too, as he's definitely capable playing them out - well unless there's something we don't know about his shoulder.

Adelaide's weakness was their midfield. Barlow would be a great pickup for them. Especially with Thompson getting on (is he still going around?). They probably need skill/speed more, but Barlow would still slot in as #2 mid behind Sloane.

If he must leave, would be happy to see him go there with a good chance of playing finals. Think he deserves more than playing his days out with a bottom feeder (e.g. GC).

Is the Whitfield excuse the lamest one you have ever heard? The kids is an idiot and a dill, has been poorly advised and the ban will be harsh.

However I'll be popping the champagne when Grubby Allen gets his.

I really hope GWS lose picks, it is in line with the crows and dons punishment

But they are the AFL's team don't forget so......"nothing to see here, move on" it will be.

They failed getting it all under the rug in the Essendon debacle. They've probably learned their lesson and will sweep a bit harder this time though.
