I'd take him...DFA.
Disposal is ok, but has pace off half back
192cm, 24 years old, WA boy. Would've played in the Box Hill backline with Sam Collins so there may be a connection there. As long as the contract isn't huge I'd say yes.

I really hope GWS lose picks, it is in line with the crows and dons punishment
Not exactly fair, Adelaide was draft tampering, Essendon ran a club organise experimental doping program.

Going by that logic, Collingwood and Freo should have lost picks recently too for our players mistakes.

If GWS get penalised it won't be for the player's mistake, it will be because two club officials assisted him avoiding a drug test. Hard to justify the club not being penalised if that is proven to be true.

GWS had officials of the club involved.

Wasn't just the player. We are talking two key members of the organisation as well. I am skeptical if Gubby and Lambert was on their own on this or the board/management weren't aware of this happening.

Mitchell to WC doesn't make a lot of sense. Clubs retire players at 34 not draft them in. Hawthorn essentially retired Mitchell , he was deemed as being to old helping them to a premiership. Mitchell has not experienced the travel load that he will encounter at WC and 34 is not the ideal age to start. He will need to be rested from the road and the away games have been the toughest for WC to win. If he came across as purely a coach you could understand but playing coaches are now so yesterday.;)

He fills a role they needed badly, and it allows them to try and push for a flag before Kennedy retires. Considering the state of their list and window, he's definitely worth the gamble. If it fails they paid nothing for him anyway.

Mitchell will slow the midfeild down futher. At least that's what I tell my self
Nah mitchell can kick both side dont need to adjust to prefer foot to kick . If eagles play to his strength dont need that much speed but rather his disposal. When he get the ball he always try to run a bit of a z run rather then straight line to make it difficult to for opponent to caught him holding the ball. Freo got two biggest offender that need to get rid of this habit ( d.pearce and suban). Hughes is another one if not careful will develop this habit too.

Things keep falling into place for the toilet. Not only have they got Mitchell on board, but they have now extended Lamb's contract for a further year. I guess you all know that he was the guy they drafted ahead of Blakely?

To be fair Lamb had/has all the attributes to be a beast - 193 cm, good overhead, fast and ran a 15.5 beep as well. Probably just too focused on finding another Fyfe clone/athlete and overlooked the more natural footballer in Blakely. Blakely is not there yet but the signs are good, Lamb would want to play well in 2017.

They extended Butlers' contract for a year, as they did with Lamb, Brohpy, Tunbridge and Snadden, whilst Fraser McInnes and Mitch Brown were thrown on the scrap heap. They could have got something in return for Mitch Brown if they had of traded him to St Kilda like he wanted to be 2 years ago.

But how Lamb, Butler and Brophy got contract extensions is beyond comprehension. Couldn't happen to a better club though if you ask me.

He was a Lamb this year but he will be a Hogget next year and culled the year after. Context of a sheep's life from the Farmers Almanac for the non country people on here.

I expect they'll pick up Butcher as a delisted free agent. That way Sheppard can lead Lamb to the Butcher before he is cooked in the McGovern over hot Cole and served up by Butler alongside the Welling-Ham.

I'll see myself out...
