I reckon this is a good match up.

While I'm far from f**king happy about the way we got knocked out, being a born and bread South Australian means I do have a soft spot for the Crows.

I'm also glad the Tigers did the right thing and kept GWS at bay for another year.

The crowd will be heaving so there should be plenty of atmosphere and it feels like it could be a close one.

I really don't have too many problems with either side winning it but I'll hop on the Crows bandwagon.

im taking up knitting... **** that game.. and besides there is no coverage over here.

Go Catters

I seriously have no dog in this hunt, buuut I am disgusted by AFL and media favoritism toward the big Melbourne clubs. I seem to hear, even from Whately, "It's good for footy when Richmond are up and about." Usually only in the beginning of each year. :) I'll add a little mojo for the Crows.

Born and bred in SA, soft spot for the Crows? They are a manufactured and plastic team. At least the PAFC are real and more respectable in every way possible as a club, but yes I've hopped on the Crows too because SA.

This is the game we usually lose.....

Anyway, think we should bring in Buzza, play Hawkins CHF, Menzel deep, start Danger in the middle to get off to a good start, and unfortunately drop a tall because Richmonds forward line is full of quick little turds.

Bring it home cats!

This, straight from Anthony Anderson who wrote the match panel rules, on how the MRP should "view" the Cotchin incident to insure he isn't suspended:

"In determining whether he's guilty or not they just have to say was he contesting the ball and did he have a realistic alternative way to contest the ball. If he's not guilty of an offence it doesn't matter how bad the consequences were to the victim player. He actually won the ball in the contest, so I'd think they'd be hard pressed to charge him or sustain a charge."

WTF - where has that reasoning been this year regarding players from certain teams? And I'm not talking about just us, but definitely questionable as that doesn't seem to apply across the board. How often has it been a case of, "Player X was hurt, so there must be a charge"
