If Evans is making the deal, Clayton is definitely resigning / getting sacked and needs to go into self preservation mode and say this is Evans' deal and not his.

If Clayton is seen to be making this deal he will never work in list management again - that's how bad this deal will be.

This is why I was trying to get that Brisbane guy who says he’s a member to tell me exactly where Cameron’s family lives in Brisbane when he was saying he was gung ho to be in Brisbane with family.

Best to worst case scenarios in order:

1. Freo cave and take 2nd rd picks - doesn't look to be happening
2. We don't do the deal
3. We downgrade #2 and Freo meet us half way
4. We just give them #2 and we trade all the 2nd rd picks for picks in 2024

I'd just keep pick two and leave it a year. He is not worth it. And the top draft picks this year seem like exactly who we want
