Game over. They're too strong all over the park. Too much left to too few. When their top ups are breaking "tackles" from our listed players you know we're in trouble.

Didn't we have 3 or 4 more listed players than they did? Pretty poor from what I saw.

Considering we had TMac and Max Spencer holding the posts down back and Brooksby and Loersch I thought we did alright. Was definitely better than what he have shown in the past.

Also, I was staying out of it, but I am now firmly on the Fiorini in the best 22 bandwagon. He is silk. And none of this 'trying him down back because we have too many midfielders in the 22'. 3 goals from the midfield today, and we already have enough running defenders with Bowes learning + Harbrow, TMac capable. Keep him in the 1 position across the 2 grades.

Could be using fiorini down back to work on his attack of the man.
He came to the suns as a high possession silk all outside player..
Mayb they trying to get defencive aspects right.. :/

But agree doesnt help anyone having him run around with inferior team mates

Not sure if the Giants played any kids, but it makes it pretty difficult to win when you dont have/use any senior nonlisted players. Generally vfl teams play 3-4 or more, but the suns always play kids.

I know development is important, but today because the u18s were playing, the neafl team had two kids that are below that level. Not sure how much game time they had, but cant make it easy to get a win with development the sole priority.

Great experience for the kids though.

after watching both games today I would think Matera, Fiorini, Lonergan, Harbrow, Brodie and probably Mckenzie deserve a game. Not like we have a shortage of players to be dropped.

Lets see how many changes are actually made though.

I made it 2 goals - and several missed tackles on the inside .....
He played well - but he's not an inside player. Half back doesn't suit him . He's an attacking weapon maybe wing / half forward ?

Hallahan injured didn't play and Scheer average at best...maybe 10 disposals....?
