find it hard for him to break in with the acquisitions of Lyons and Barlow, plus Bowes/Ainsworth are arguably more readyStruggling to find any mention of Will Brodie basically anywhere.
Is he not going to play?
Jordan Ridley a def/fwd from the bombers tracking along very nicely from all reports.
What about Fridge BegleyNot a big chance to play. Will play 2-5 games if anything.
I'm interested, sounds like Obese Arachnid long lost son. What about Fridge Begley

where do you see Schoenmakers fitting into the scheme of things at the Hawks?
can only ask, dont think he will be significant enough to be picked even as a rookie, just curiousJust no. Please don't do this to yourself.

thanks, thought that might be the casethis is pretty speculative...
With Vickery in and Roughy back - on the edge of or just outside the best 22. I'm pretty sure we have given up on him as a defender but the competition for forward spots is pretty strong. I haven't seen him mentioned in any training updates so he's been quite invisible. I'm sure he'll play a bit this year but not consistently.
His price is very appealing but even when he plays well he scores are pretty average. Can be frustrating too, he has a lot of talent but can't really seem to get it together except the odd game here and there.
IMHO, I'd avoid unless someone goes down injured giving him decent job security and/or there is a real dearth of genuine forward rookies - There will be a few 123k players that get the same average per game. The only other scenario that may appeal is if he gets a different job in the preseason games. I'm not sure if his engine could make him a Nick Riewoldt type who gets up and down the ground. But he would still be a risky in and out of the team proposition I would guess.
I concur with Sydney Kicker.Sydney Kicker

If Hawthorn wanted to play an extra marking option (assuming Roughead, Vickery and Gunston are selected), I'd suggest both Sicily and Burton would get this job before Schoenmakers. They provide greater versatility and a broader skill-set than what old Schoey doesthis is pretty speculative...

Long-term, I still think Burton is a forward.Burton is probably more likely to play in defence, but I agree that Sicily will get a run before him in most cases.
if Keeffe is fit, he'll play every game, Buckley loves him for some reason
could play in defence or up forward... only Nathan knows unfortunately
Is A.Johnson from the Swans injury free this year?
IIRC he's had a couple of knee recos the last 2 years but if he's all good then may get a few games maybe?
