I love the "mentally weak" diagnosis of everyone on here... why? Because the kid wants to come home? He lost his father a few years back, is from country Vic and wants to be closer to his mum. Sounds to me that he has tried to do the right thing by Brisbane (and re-signed) because he wanted to give his all to his old man's club. Sounds to me that he has good values and respect, rather than "mentally weak".

I guess all these blokes are mentally weak too then... Aaron Francis, Charlie Cameron, Bryce Gibbs, Jake Lever, Harley Balic, Adam Saad, Gary Ablett, etc, etc.

He's a kid, who just finished his second year of AFL football. He's also a tall (which from a playing perspective, takes years to come on (how's Paddy McCartin going? mentally weak too).... some people need to show a bit more respect.

I'm not sure why we're not into Devon Smith.

I know we have alot of small forwards but IMO Smith can be a wingman.

In saying that we have Menadue, Markov, Ellis ect all playing magoos.

I'd be content with us trying to trade for a lower first rounder to access a high end mid/KPF and then getting Naish for peanuts.

To me Schache is too wishy washy. Why commit to a two year contract then do a U Turn and say you're homesick? From the outside looking in, he sounds like a petulant child who only wants things go his way and will make trouble till he gets it.

He certainly is which says something about what I think of Schache.

You'll get the same intensity from him. How many of his goals in any of the highlights packages from all levels are AFL standard tall forward goals?

Anyone of any size can lead, mark and goal. I prefer a tall who competes and is an animal like Jack. Another bonus would be to get someone who can give Nank a chop out.

Waste of a 1st round draft pick IMO.

I'd be surprised if that was true. I expect us to bid. But possibly only one first rounder + someone like Miles.

For our needs Schache fits as well as anyone IMHO.
