Looks like plenty of options are available at the moment, granted not all are going to be stars, but we don't really need a star. A player or 2 who can come in and play a role week to week might just make the difference in how we go over the next couple of years. Some of these guys named above aren't going to cost early picks, we might be able to pick them up for later picks or player swaps. So get to it Blair Balme and co, get us some depth in our KPP stocks without breaking the bank.

Little about VFL players this week that have been mentioned.

"Shaun McKernan bagged four of Essendon's 10 goals in their four-point loss to Footscray in a VFL thriller at Whitten Oval on Friday night.
McKernan, who hasn't played at AFL level since round two, has tallied eight goals in his past two outings"

"Key forward Jack Redpath managed just one goal in a disappointing performance"

Bulldogs won by 4 points

Both potatoes.

Himmelberg a 3rd or 4th Rounder? Definitely not.
Drafted at #16 and is playing senior games.
Worth a 2nd Rd pick.
His forms looks reasonable but only getting a game because of injuries. http://www.aflplayerratings.com.au/Ratings/Player/121713/Harrison-HIMMELBERG
Is more of a replacement for Rance instead of Jack as is more a rebound defender.
Calton traded the equivalent of pick 16 for Marchbank and Pickett (based on current ladder positions). If he wanted to come to us I would only offer a third round pick.

Eric Hipwood resigned late last year until 2019. So is unavailable. Unfortunately the list on players coming out of contract still has him listed. Can those who voted for him change their vote

Ultimately, we cant be too fussy IMO.

We absolutely must enter next season with a ready to go KPF/Ruck. Casboult, Reid whoever. We simply must take the best one we can get and then draft or trade for a kid.

Not having a decent player of this type has already cost us 3 games and top spot on the ladder IMO.

No Mitch McGovern in the list? Crows salary cap bursting so could be squeezed out. I know he's from WA but we have picks and $ to get the deal done.

Going home (and is a third tall). Might free up Darling though, but he is a third tall as well.
Throw a million and go after Lobbe from GWS and pick up Nick Riewoldt from Aints for a one year crack in 2018.
Both first round picks and if necessary andnext years for Lobbe. Lobbe will be a top 5 player in two years and is already a very good player.
