No, he's the one that gave gray a bath. Gray had to resort to cheapies over the top to get any of the ball.

The calls for Burton are the funniest. I mean guy is a great loose defender and intercept player. But lets see him strong it together and be a great 1 on 1 defender too

How many Hawthorn games have you actually watched this year? Burton has not once played as a loose defender, in fact he has played most of the season as our 2nd key defender behind Frawley early in the season and more recently Brand. For example, you should watch a tape of either our games against the crows this year when he held his own against Taylor Walker.

I did not watch the Adelaide game so won't comment on that one.
I have been to two Hawthorn games live this season. In both games you flooded your backline with 8-10 players for nearly the entire game and Burton did not engage in a single one on one contest I can remember (to be fair, hardly any of your players did due to their defensive scheme.)
Not saying that is a bad thing, Clarkson has you guys winning games and your defense and counter attack from that is what is working for you. Your guys help out alot and that is fantastic.
In both games I watched, Burton played very well but I could not tell you who his direct opponent was at any point so hard to claim he is beating people directly.
What he is doing is playing some excellent football and going hard when he needs to. I was skeptical at the start of the year but he is a dead set gun.
