can someone please confirm if we have any players who have undergone post-season surgeries? most seasons you hear of many players especially at carlton having interrupted pre-seasons however i have not come across anything yet?

Russell will officially start with the Blues on October 29 after asking Hawthorn to release him from his contract in one of the biggest off-field moves of the year.

Just thinking that while he is credited with fixing issues with Burgoyne and O'Meara, he wasn't able to keep Rioli or Birchall on the park.

I don't expect him to be a magician. Some bodies just can't stand the rigours.

His expertise will at least make it easier to spot players who’ve bodies unable to cope or simply won’t do the work properly. As they’ll be the ones getting injured now (not completely, injuries still happen). As opposed to just everyone getting injured as it has been recently.
