On review at the time I conceded it was a pen, now after it has been reviewed ad nausea I'm not so sure it's clear cut any more. Had the ref called it a pen then fair enough, but not sure there is enough to over rule his initial decision.

The refereee was a campaigner so no surprise he was keen to give a VAR decision. You could argue it was there and argue it wasn't, but like a goal review in AFL surely not enough conclusive evidence to overturn?

Would have taken 2-1 at the start of the night but I'm flat now. We didn't create much but were organized well enough to earn a point.

Sainsbury utterly magnificent, he is a gun. Mooy great in MF. And very impressed with BVM - he has this team playing well enough to be a chance every game, and that's all you can ask. Will need a bit more attacking flair against Denmark though.
