AFL clubs should just all impose bans on dealing with player agents. waste everyone's time.

What’s that got to do with what I said? I’m well aware that we can retain players but the fact is we can’t get genuine A-graders over the line.
Our club is currently getting hammered on social media. Easy to dismiss as idiots taking cheap shots but mud sticks and negative media, social or otherwise, is not good for the Club.

So we have deals for Polec and Hall to get done, Clarke to go out. A couple of others on the go. Plus the big player mentioned that no one can name

And he's taken offence to North supporters saying we never get A graders and has decided to stay at Port.Polec is a pretty bloody good player tbf.
And he certainly hit the bull eye .Throw enough darts mate
Yep, agree. Bye Andrew.
Welcome Jared & Aaron
LDU, Kyron, Simpkin, Froggy.
Time to stand up.
well being "well aware " we can retain players should mean you understand how hard it is to get players out of their original clubs IF their club wants them more than say a compensation pick will deliver.
How many A graders have change clubs over recent times? Are you also suggesting we're the only club that tried to get the players you mentioned across, we're not.
There is no one else.
We don’t have the currency to make any deals this year.
We’ll get Polec, Hall, maybe Finlayson and TT and that will be that.
I wouldn’t be holding onto hope for anymore big moves.
Yeah fly him over, bring him into the locker room. Lock the door behind him. 1 v 1 against Cunnington. Only one man leaves.Eagles posters mentioned it would be a 2 year deal. If my maths are correct that would make him an unrestricted free agent at that time.
I'll just set a reminder in my phone to pick this up again then when he's homesick again
Joyce should have boxed him up.Confirmed now in the WA press
West Coast midfielder Andrew Gaff has rejected North Melbourne's lucrative contract offer and will remain with the Eagles.
Gaff, who missed the Eagles' premiership win through suspension, has flown to Melbourne and on Sunday told North Melbourne football chief Cameron Joyce he had decided to remain with West Coast.

That quick plane trip did have me puzzled. Amazing.
The man clearly has no integrity.
How’s it going down there GG?

Won't worry Polec! Doesn't worry meOur club is currently getting hammered on social media. Easy to dismiss as idiots taking cheap shots but mud sticks and negative media, social or otherwise, is not good for the Club.

I'm with you but supposedly we have an agreement with GWS and Kelly that he will come to North at the end of his current contract. Also supposedly Kelly is a "Man of his word" and won't entertain an offer this year. And supposedly we don't want to upset GWS as they've said they will deal with us for Kelly at the end of his contract next year. My take. We have people at our club who think they know how to negotiate but if you look at what has unfolded over the last few years they are only average at the caper. :stern look
Indeed Joyce should have boxed him up. Boxed him up and sent him back to Perth Gwyneth Paltrow style.Yeah fly him over, bring him into the locker room. Lock the door behind him. 1 v 1 against Cunnington. Only one man leaves.
Joyce should have boxed him up.
