I'm a fan of Bolton, probably what we need forward to be honest. I think we'd be strengthening the Tigers more than ourselves though with a trade like that. I'd expect more coming back our way. Callum Moore I don't know much about tbh - from the video he looks quite athletic for a big guy.

Surprised no one has mentioned Jack Lonie as a potential option? Rumours are that the saints aren’t offering him a contract and he’s looking for another club. Has been in good form over the past 5 weeks, since he was reintroduced to the AFL team. Has kicked 11 goals and averaged 17 disposals in those 5 weeks.

We desperately lack a small forward who can kick goals. Hrovat, Turner, Simpkin etc. just aren’t getting the job done when it comes to kicking goals. I reckon Lonie is definitely worth a crack when he’ll cost us nothing. Thoughts?

This is actually a really underrated point and I'm surprised it hasn't been mentioned more. Of course he would have spoken to some of these guys privately (maybe not Simmo but definitely the other three) when the offer came in. They're obviously not going to tell him to leave WC but would be able to say "if you do want to go, it's a good place to be" etc.

Daresay he wouldn't need to talk to them.....daresay North's culture is reflected in the sort of blokes they are, how they go about things, the way they speak and their actions!

I mentioned he was on the move a week or so ago but there were no takers on this board , I’m one who thinks he would do well in our structure. He does apply very good pressure ... Just plant him at Ben Browns feet and he will give you 30 goals a year .

I know someone very close to Callum who says he’s not very committed to the game. Obviously a trade could be a wake up call for him.

I would hate to see Preuss go to the Tigers!!
