Exactly, just because he wasn't great a few years ago doesn't mean he will be crap forever. Of course players can improve.

Wade was extremely profilic early on in his career if I recall. Averaged 50 in his first few shield seasons in what was probably a golden era of fast bowlers in Aust domestic cricket. He's always had big talent.

I suspect the pressure of Australian selection made him stop enjoying his cricket and his form suffered.
