If they lose two early wickets, they won't even bother try to attempt to chase the runs down regardless of who is in. Would be all about preserving wickets.

This would certainly be true of most English teams in days gone by. But the current lot tend to be more like our teams where they just try to hit their way out of trouble,more or less in one day mode. Means they have some spectacular collapses at times but makes them dangerous.
