Had to laugh at Kelly saying he moved to win premierships, if there was ever a slight on Scotts finals record...

47 for Betts?
I don't mind the $$$ contribution, since there's no way we should be tight for cash next year
4 picks for 1 player, and there is no way of telling how good Steven will be.they're getting jack steven, they'll be fine.
good deal all round. win-win imo
47 is way more than I expected
Jack Steele is a gun wtfAnd so were Henry Schade (2011), Nathan Wright (2012), Billy Hartung (2013), Jack Steele (2014), Ben Keays (2015), Cedric Cox (2016).
Jake Carlisle (2010) and Jamie Cripps (2009) were the only 24's in the last 10 years who amounted to anything.
So ....30% chance.
I reckon the one player that is being shopped around that is a need for us is Howard. I am not sure why Port don’t want him as a KPD though. But I’d be drafting him as a KPD.
If he is after money then surely we will have more cap space than any other team in the league with the number of senior players leaving us.
We’ve got two picks in the 20s. Surely one of those gets you Howard. I like what Reid is saying about going to the draft. But really what he should mean is restructuring the age profile of our list. Ideally we don’t go too young either.

If its more than 100k then we should have left him here. He is still a starting 22 player at least for next year, he will be at Carlton. Even paying $100k for pick 47 in a poor draft seems excessive. For pick 47 we must be paying his entire salary. Pick 47 is much higher than I would have expected.
I can deal with 100K to be honest. If its more than 100k then we should have left him here. He is still a starting 22 player at least for next year, he will be at Carlton. Even paying $100k for pick 47 in a poor draft seems excessive.
Borlaise can't jump ship to Port.
Father didn't play enough games to meet F/S. Very similar deal to Gibbs where it was under a seasons worth of games too.
We only have him because convienently he was born overseas.
I dont care if we are paying $100k, even $150k to be honest. If we have him here we'll be playing him or he'll be our first call up and thus block our chances to get serious games into others who we need to see if they have it. Pick 47? I'll take that, I was expecting a pick after 80 purely just about getting it done. Pick 47 could be used as a sweetener to move another pick up the draft order, it's not all that bad.If its more than 100k then we should have left him here. He is still a starting 22 player at least for next year, he will be at Carlton. Even paying $100k for pick 47 in a poor draft seems excessive.
Actually it has to be the pick we gave Carlton last year. Its pick 48 now.I can deal with 100K to be honest.
Pick 47 smacks of a desperate move to get a favourite son home.

4picks for a gun and 2 picks.4 picks for 1 player, and there is no way of telling how good Steven will be.

That's a win for us.

Petrie would've been handy too.
