Smith hopeful of playing next Test

Steven Smith hopes he is fit to play the next Ashes Test after being ruled out of the final day of the second Test at Lord's with concussion.
With only a short turnaround until the third Test starts at Headingley on Thursday, it seems doubtful Smith will be cleared to play. However, he will undergo meticulous testing over the coming days after being struck on the neck by a Jofra Archer bouncer after lunch on day four.
Despite passing initial concussion testing which allowed him to resume his innings, Smith pulled up feeling worse this morning, by which time his results in subsequent testing had deteriorated.
"With the tests I've done and how I've woken up today I think it's the right decision," Smith said in an interview released by Cricket Australia. "I'll obviously monitored very closely over the next few days with a pretty quick turnaround in between Test matches and I'm hopeful I can make a recovery and be ok for that.

The fielding has been the biggest let down of this series - fair enough if your out of form with the bat or get a few good ones... we've let ourselves down in the field big time and its cost us serious runs
Wouldn’t have minded seeing a third man all series. We’re cost ourselves 50 runs per innings there at least.

**** this draw shit, lets come out swinging. Give Warner full license to go for it. He isn't going to last trying to prod around anyway

Stokes and Lyon to get a ton at the same time?
