He is truly a big game player. Reminds me of Voss, Carey, Gary Ablett etc.Martin was clear BOG.
We would have likely lost the GF, but given a far better showing.Think cats second best side this year
As said before, reminds me of a Turbo sniperless version of Lethal. He is truly a big game player. Reminds me of Voss, Carey, Gary Ablett etc.
He stood up when needed - did love him getting caught holding the ball though and then mouthing offMartin was clear BOG.
Pickett- excellent game considering, but top 5 ??He stood up when needed - did love him getting caught holding the ball though and then mouthing off
Just questioning if Pickett was really in the best 3 or if that was more the fairy tale element - not sure a seasoned player with the same output would have been in the votes
Let's temper that by realising we only scored 16 points in a half last week.GWS will do a Port and take over a decade to recover from this
25 points for a whole game is pathetic and should be rightly called out and mocked
It's scary that's it's their lowest ever score alsoGWS will do a Port and take over a decade to recover from this
25 points for a while game is pathetic and should be rightly called out and mocked
Yet they made a GF.It's scary that's it's their lowest ever score also
Twice GWS have been held to less than 30 points, and both times that's occurred within the last 8 weeks. That makes it even more pathetic - add to that us keeping them to 32 points at KP last year and that means 3 of their 4 lowest scores have been in the last 18 months when they are meant to be premiership contenders
I didn't, was not in the least bit interested. That was a $hithouse game to watch.
I didn't, was not in the least bit interested.
That was his teammates wasn't it?When i watched open mic with SJ they told him at 3Q time he won the Norm smith.
Anywoo doing it late in the last Q is probably the best one to do it.
I think they'll miss 2020, but win 2021GWS were cooked and that was obvious to see in last 20 minutes of prelim.
Tigers mirroring cats 07-11. If they go back to back they’ll surpass us!
Nah I reckon they'll get done for salary cap breaching.I think they'll miss 2020, but win 2021
Veteran Heath Shaw has vowed to play on at GWS next year following an unprecedented verbal commitment from CEO Dave Matthews just moments after the final siren.
Shaw, who turns 34 in November, is out of contract and conceded he would have retired if the Giants won on Saturday afternoon.
But an 89-point defeat saw Shaw’s career on a knife’s edge for all of 10 minutes after the premiership was lost.
“To be honest, I spoke to Dave Matthews when I was walking off the ground,” Shaw said in the rooms post-game.
“He said ‘you can’t go anywhere. You have to come for one more year.’ So I said to the few of the boys if we won a premiership I’d retire, but we didn’t win it. We will figure it out over the next couple of weeks.
“I’m not going anywhere and we have a little bit of unfinished business.”
Not with Mr Perfect at the helm.Nah I reckon they'll get done for salary cap breaching.
Won’t win another one imoI think they'll miss 2020, but win 2021
I hope they don't win next year. But gotta give them credit. Truly a champion team, not a team of champions.I think they'll miss 2020, but win 2021
