Robertsons kicking in the highlights video looked ok.

He also seems a fair bit smaller than Worpel which might be a concern to recruiters but it hasn't held Lachie Neale back

Per the AFL.com.au draft hub Robertson is 182cm 80kg - actually a bit taller than Lachie. Worpel is listed at 185 so isn't that much taller though obviously with several years in the system he's no doubt got far more bulk.

It's about build as well. Mitch Robinson is 185cm tall but he's huge.

Robertson will be on the smaller side. Not that it's the end of the world. Might end up like Marc Murphy who ended up being beaten up quite a bit.

FWIW Twomey doesn't see Robertson getting past us or adelaide's two picks per the live show on the AFL's facebook page an hour ago, whereas Balmer had him pegged for Geelong at 27 as of this morning. Clearly some differing views as to what will happen in the first few picks.

I've arbitrarily decided I'll be disappointed if we don't pick robertson after having watched exactly 0 mins of the national championships and no highlight packages whatsoever.

Same. I've never even looked at Devon Robertson as I was more focused on Rivers/Rantall/Bianco and Williams.
Now I'm more attached to the "likely available" ones than Robertson ..

I'd certainly love him at the club, but won't have an issue of we pass on him. In the end the same guys making the call have absolutely nailed their past few years of drafting. Trust in the process!

Heavily reliable information from an insider. Mainly his kicking and probable return to Perth the two reasons we'll pass.

For performance art reasons if we do actually pick him I'm tempted to get mad that we didn't trade down or pick up a good kick as 'he would have lasted to our next pick'.

Plenty of ways to get mad whilst knowing absolutely nothing!
