haha, we would get absolutely no deals done if that was the case.
Bods doesn't even know who Martin Gleeson or Jordan Ridley are so how can he comment on them?
Its ok Bod's has appointed me his assistant and i know exactly who they are
Ridley is worth pick #40+ and gleeson even less.

Im still asking for pick #15-#20 + Ridley in a trade for Martin and dont need Gleeson as brandon Ellis comes for free and is same age with 1795 games and a premiership medal.

Ah Chee .................. Brisbane better have a top #15-#20 pick handy or Ely Smith is playing for the Suns in 2020

I like your optimism and fortitude.
If Gleeson is worth pick 50+, he’ll im trading him in for a future 4th or something like this. I really like him as a player as long as his medical checks out..
Brandon Ellis is a completely different player though.

Where were you when Clayton was swapping picks and trading players for peanuts a couple of years ago :drunk:
Bods needed to appoint you sooner

Clayton Was terrible but the jury is still out on Cameron too

The Scrimshaw and lions pick swaps are his doing, needs a successful trade period, if he gives up Martin and Achee for unders then we should be screaming for his head
We couldn’t do much more about Scrimshaw his value was worthless. We took him waaaaaaay to high in that draft (thanks Clayton) and he couldn’t even get on the park for a team screaming out for a rebounding defender. Granted he has looked okay for Hawthorn but he has a lot of help around him

Not to mention he was to be paid $400k pa for 2019 and 2020 when our cap was a mess. Hawks only willing to pay unders if Scrimshaw teared up his contract.

That's my biggest problem with GCS regarding trade, GWS also need to relief their salary cap, but what they get from settlefield, Shiel and Lobbs were not overly under. Scully was way under but they got backup players to cover his lost and his salary. Eg Hill.

To be fair a lot of that was getting rid of guys on 800k a year who were worth 350

Fathers Day trade hyperthetical while I give the daughter orders from the couch...

Suns:
1, 2, 17, 52.
Dons:
29, 31.
Lions:
15, 19, 35.

Martin - Dons 29 & 31 (points valued at pick 13, need multiple picks for other trades)

Suns:
1, 2, 17, 29, 31, 52.

Ah Chee - Lions 19 (reflective of his age, potential, lucrative deal, they must get a deal done)

Suns:
1, 2, 17, 19, 29, 31, 52.

31 to Adelaide Greenwood & Betts (contracted, fair deal).

1, 2, 17, 19, 29, 52.

29 to Hawks for Smith (contracted, entice Hawks into trade).

Maybe trade 17 & 19 for a higher quality top 10 pick or keep 2 x late 1st Rd?

Draft:
1 Rowell

1 x top 10 or 17, 19
52 Buderick bid (Academy)

Greenwood

I like it but that would imply 10 new players on the list...

Ah Chee, Martin, Nutting are going or gone so would need another 7 list spots. Who do you delist

Love this mate, the only thing I would say is pick 52 for Betts and Greenwood given their age that’s more fair for us.

I don't think two 30+ pick equal to late first round pick. Any bid inside 1st round you get 20% discount and after that you get flat 197 point. So a first round pick value is automatically higher that two 30+ add up point.

Could we rookie list some lads that are currently in the main list?
Yes you could, eg Shoenfield who is still under contract, young, Crossley( while waiting for his drug sanction as he is out of contract ) in rookie draft.

Dawson/Heron? Or are they already on rookie list?
Both still on rookie B and can stayed for another year, not included in GC salary cap.
Eg if GC drafted Gore as rookie B he can stayed on for three years until 2022 but in 2023 GCS need to decide to upgrade him or delist him, Same applied to Rookie A but sheer and Risca, Leslie their salary were include in this year GCS salary cap.

Ideally blokes like Nicholls, Crossley, Schoenfeld, Young, Ellis, Horlin Smith, Joyce would be the 7 in the firing line with this proposal
