I didn't see the game.

So Cam's throwing at under 50% yet doesn't even attempt to rush?

Godwin the real deal? I heard a lot of preseason hype for him, seems he's stealing a lot of Evans' targets.

Would gladly give up a first or a second for Fitzpatrick. Lock down both sides with Alexander and Fitzpatrick, yes please.
Minkah's not a boundary CB.

He's a FS who can play a bit of slot CB, and given that being played out of position is a large part of why he's been unhappy with the new coaching staff, I doubt he'd be happy playing yet another position

Based on today’s performance you’d have to expect massive changes at Carolina in the off season.

Cam looks stuffed, Ron will finally be gone too.

Both Ron and Cam have looked done over the years early on in the season yet manage to redeem themselves. Not saying it's going to happen this time, but let's not jump to conclusions yet.

Cam Newton looks physically cooked this time. I can’t see him getting Ron out of this one.

They are dead set dreaming with the way he's played in his NFL career so far. Looks a First round bust honestly. I wouldn't even give up a third for him.

Phins are smart getting in before the bottom falls out, cash him in for what you can while he still has some sort of trade value.

Are you basing that only on how he played last week or something?

No, I'm basing it over his NFL career as I said in the previous post. I don't what to tell you, he's been shit mate. Thats two coaches now who have moved him all over the formation trying to find him a spot where he excels. He's end up playing as a Nickel corner FFS, and not even a good one. Nickel CBs don't get taken with first round picks.

Pats will get him for a 6th and he'll become Ed Reed within 5 games

Huh? He was drafted as a utility DB who played both FS and Nickle CB at Bama.

Him being used the same way by Miami last season isn't proof of him playing poorly

So you reckon he's worth a first or second seriously?

The dolphins drafted him to play safety or outside cb.. both of which hes struggled at in the NFL...They wouldn't even entertain allowing him to seek a trade while still in the second year of his rookie contract if they thought he was all that great.

If the Ravens needed a FS, I'd absolutely be prepared to give up a 2nd for him. But between ET at FS and having the highest paid slot CB in the NFL, there isn't really the available snaps (or at least there wouldn't be in Tavon Young wasn't currently injured)

And as I said earlier to GW, Minkah isn't and never has been a boundary corner

Remember when they benched/cut Rashad Jones playing time last year to give him more of go? ....And yet Jones still remains on the roster and the starter despite his play dropping over the past few seasons.
Reshad is a SS whose best suited to being the box, which is not using Minkah's skills best. Just ask his mum ;)

Yeah I thought he was a guy who could play the boundary. With Savage and Amos he isn't needed at GB in that case.

What? He beat Davante Adams last year playing cb. He was a rookie who was thrown in about four different positions, playing with a lot of other young players. Very harsh. A second rounder easily. Fins have no bargaining power though and may need to accept a third.

Coaching staffs don't move players around if the are succeeding in a role or position. They do it to either find them a role or hide them.

Xavien Howard is a genuine gun so don't act like Minkah was shutting star wrs down on a regular basis and he had no help in the secondary, he was playing across from a lockdown corner.

I think you might have misunderstood. The commentators meant that the coach asking for the 2nd timeout should be ignored, so play would continue and therefore nobody is picking and choosing when the rules are applied.

If a ref incorrectly stop the game, the coach is penalised for asking for the 2nd TO with a delay of game

Hmm ok, just out of interest do these time outs have to be back to back with no play in between or is it just 2 calls in a row by a defence no matter when they are called?
