Oh yeah, Trevor Lawrence is Sunshine 🤦‍♂️

I don't think the timing matches up. If Cam's deal is up this year and Rivera gets fired, I think it's more likely they go with a new QB for next season rather than 2021
Grier will get a go I reckon.

Can someone run down what just happened?

At work and watching the updates it went from 4th and 2 - TB delay of Game - 1st and 1 and then TB ended up with the ball???

It was 4th and 1 not 1st and 1

I thought preseason ended 2 weeks ago...

Just saying, we all reckon Cam's bad....Blaine Gabbert's spirit animal Will Grier won't be any better.

Best not show him to the public anymore than we have to anyway, we might be able to rip someone off for a 5th or 6th round pick down the line. 😂

I don't reckon Cam is that bad. His Oline was average tonight and he's injured. TNF and the delay + divisional rival

At his best he isn't that bad. Not sure what he is now

- Carolina ball 4th and 2 at the 3.
- Tampa called back to back defensive time outs, which isn't allowed so was a delay of game penalty
- penalty made it 4th & 1 at the 1.5 yard line
- Carolina stupidly ran a trick play with McCaffrey running outside but was forced out at the 2, so turnover on downs

interesting that commentators said penalties for calling that second time out are usually ignored, yet another sport that gets to pick & choose when to apply the rules, the AFL likes this.

Did love the look on Todd Bowles face when calling out Arians on it, was like 'wtf are you doing to me dude!?'

Dolphins DB Minkah Fitzpatrick was granted permission to seek a trade.
It's hardly shocking Miami's 2018 first-rounder sought a way out after playing six different positions this offseason, weak side and strong side linebacker included. Fitzpatrick allowed an airtight 53.4 passer rating in the slot last year but stayed jostling from corner to the front-seven in Miami's season opener as the new regime continued toying with alignments and personnel. A former Thorpe Award recipient as the nation's top defensive back at Alabama, there will be a number of suitors bending over backwards to take on Fitzpatrick's remaining $13.45 million for the next three seasons.

  • ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports Britney Taylor, who has accused Antonio Brown of sexual assault and rape in a civil lawsuit, has agreed to meet with the NFL next week.
Fowler reports Brown and Taylor had been engaged in settlement talks for months but "agreed their communication would remain confidential" until the filling of Taylor's lawsuit. That's how the Raiders or Patriots never found out. The league has the option of placing Brown on the commissioner's exempt list, but it appears that would not happen, if it does at all, until next week at the earliest. All signs point toward Brown playing against the Dolphins.

He is done

Most mobile quarterbacks are done around 29-30 and he is there right now

He has taken probably double the amount of hits most mobile qbs take as well

Wouldn’t be shocked if he isn’t starting for Carolina next year

I think you might have misunderstood. The commentators meant that the coach asking for the 2nd timeout should be ignored, so play would continue and therefore nobody is picking and choosing when the rules are applied.

If a ref incorrectly stop the game, the coach is penalised for asking for the 2nd TO with a delay of game
