NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports Josh Gordon (knee, IR) could be waived and available as a free agent "soon."
Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer added that Gordon's knee injury is "minor" and the 28-year-old expects to be medically cleared "soon." Gordon would obviously be eligible to sign with another team and play immediately if that occurs. He was reportedly dealing with two bone bruises in his knee before missing practice the past two weeks but was ultimately on his way out for performance reasons after totaling 20/287/1 in six injury-riddled games this season. Even if Gordon's on your bench, it's purely a cross-your-fingers Hail Mary to keep him stashed and hope he lands with another team in '19.

Steelers LB Anthony Chickillo was placed on the Reserve/Commissioner's Exempt List.
Chickillo was arrested and charged with three misdemeanors in a domestic dispute over the weekend and will likely stay hit with a suspension for the rest of the season. While he can't practice or attend games on the Exempt List, Chickillo's allowed at Pittsburgh's facility for meetings, individual workouts, therapy and rehabilitation. He'll continue to receive his normal salary, too. The Steelers signed Jay Elliott in a corresponding move.

explains why the Patriots invested a 2nd in Sanu. They were desperate.

The New York Daily News' Manish Mehta reports the Jets have made Robby Anderson available ahead of next Tuesday's trade deadline.
This isn't the first time New York has contemplated moving Anderson, as the deep threat drew interest from the Eagles, amongst other teams, at last year's deadline. The Eagles certainly make sense again. With Anderson on the cusp of free agency, the 1-5 Jets are hoping to flip him for a draft pick in 2020. Per Mehta, Gang Green is also shopping former first-round pick Leonard Williams. The trade deadline is set for Tuesday at 4 PM ET.

The LBs and the DBs tables are superb
Caught the corners & wideouts the other week, good watching.
Enjoyed the OL one the most of the ones I've seen so far. They all just seem like good dudes.

Seeing LT cry when he was talking about his relationship with Harry Carson was interesting

makes sense for the birds but probably only if they can win in Buffalo, no point in bringing players with a season that's rapidly flushing down the toilet.

Cowboys acquired DE Michael Bennett from the Patriots in exchange for a 2021 seventh-round pick.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports it could become a sixth-round pick if Bennett hits certain thresholds for the Cowboys. Bennett was disillusioned with his limited playing time in New England, and arguably rightfully so. He has 2.5 sacks on just 130 snaps this season. For their part, the Cowboys have sported a middle-of-the-pack pass rush. With the Patriots loaded and dominating, it's a move that makes sense for both sides.

Interesting point made on FF about this trade in that it could well have been done to keep Bennett out of the AFC and away from any of the likely top tier NFC contenders, instead of just cutting him and letting him sign for whoever
