people keep questioning how he got away with it for it to get to the point of testing, theres every chance he was caught in the act by the testing officer, this would still be tampering

A google search could probably answer my query quickly but would rather pose the question here... do these fake things come in the full spectrum of skin tones, lengths, girths, beanies and German helmets?

Apparently caught red handed pouring liquid into urine sample.
Begs the question, why was he allowed to play against the Bombers????

I’d say the ASADA testers suspected he was up to no good (observed some shonky activities) - noting the possibility of a tampering. Had to still go through the testing procedures (A & B samples). Once the two samples are provided they are sealed permanently and can only be opened by the machine that the tube is placed into for testing. The test results would take a couple of weeks to come back. You could argue that the process could have been sped to occur before the Essendon game but have to remember that was Thu evening.

According to the HSUN energy drink is the liquid in the spotlight.

The article on herald sun reckons they caught him and then made him take another sample.

"
West Coast Eagles livewire Willie Rioli was caught pouring a liquid — possibly an energy drink — into a drug-test beaker in a panicked attempt to dupe anti-doping officers.
Rioli, 24, is out of tomorrow’s semi-final showdown against Geelong at the MCG after being suspended on Wednesday night over an “adverse analytical finding” that there was a “urine substitution”.
Rioli had been caught by two Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority officers overseeing a test in Perth on August 20, insiders say, amid speculation that the substance was an energy drink.
“He tried to manipulate his sample on-site and got caught red-handed,” a source said.
Rioli would then have been forced to provide a legitimate sample, the test results of which had not yet been revealed, the insider added."

Why oh why would you play second string bowlers then put the Poms in to bat. I know it’s a dead rubber, but it’s fu**en idiotic.

Shane Warne sounded pissed off during commentary. He was scathing of the selection of Marsh and Siddle being similar bowlers with Stark sitting out.

Why the f....k is Stark not playing? He's been underused all series.

I know I read the article. Just didn’t make full sense to me so I drew my own conclusions and some personal experiences (less stringent I might add) when completing drug testing as part of pre-employment screens.

We always patted down the applicants and checked pockets etc. Then without being completely dodgy kept a close eye on them as they did their business. The notion of prosthesis which includes a liquid squeezed via a pump is very real. He quite possibility wasn’t as calm as could be whilst “fiddling” (bad choice of word) with the prosthesis. I leave you to google image what I’m talking about.

Starc was bowling trash last test, not including Pattinson is the bad choice made here

During ASADA testing you need to be completely naked from nipple to knee while giving a sample. You also need to be in sight of the Tester from when you get notified until you give the sample. Using a prosthesis would be nearly impossible.

It's quite different to workplace drug testing.
