Thoughts on the team set-up
Have recently changed from having Macrae and Cousins to Lyons and upgrading to Heeney/Robinson in my forward line
Might be a bit weak in the backline is my main concern but thinking of bolstering mids/fwds with players who will score higher in that region for similar costs
How is my defence that different to most others on here though? I have a rookie at D4 and most have a midpricer like Smith/Ridley/Moore. You have to compromise somewhere this year, and l like many other people think defence is the place to do it.
What do you suggest I do to improve? I could drop a fwd, then I'd be fielding a rookie at F4, which is the same or worse than one at D4.
That defence could make or break this season. Could also make or break you.
I have Rids and Moore, but one fwd and one back. Might be better..... might.

I like the structure of your team, value in defence and strong in forwards. Just in my personal opinion I would change lyons and robinson for Steele and Dunkley. I think they provide much higher upside. But like the team!

Are you suggesting I swap a high scoring mid for a forward premium who will score lower? So I can then replace that mid with a rookie or mid pricer. Resulting in the same outcome pretty much with less points.
I agree with you on the Jacobs point. I’m working on that but just can’t justify paying 700k for a ruckman who has averaged that scoring for 1 season. Feel the same about macrae and Lloyd.

Oh yeah there is a load of high scoring mid rookies under 200k. Forgot about that...

The amount of mid pricers and risks im making in this team is ridiculous. i'm banking on worpel and higgins to step it up another level this year. contemplating downgrading Sheed to upgrade the forward or backs but have don't have much confidence in many of the other rookies

Like everyone, have to decide where your weak points are and more importantly how you plan to fix them through the year.
Rucks strategy is a 50-50 so no problems there.
Id be worried that you'll spend a lot of trades getting forwards up to scratch as there is not a lot there.
