So I was hoping to get some feedback from the SC community with this early attempt.
Tried to leave myself with enough cash in the bank for upgrades where necessary.
Cheers all.

Not a bad team first up.
Question mark over JPK at M5 for that price. I had him last year and he struggled at times.
M.Crouch with a soft draw maybe?

Witts>Goldy
JPK>Fyfe/Neale.
I consider both of those moves as “Upgrades”. Other than that I like the rest. Definite potential. Juggs Magnetic sounds an awful lot like Judd Magic:think:. We may have a rat in the system:moustache:
Edit:Can even trade Zerrett to Yeo/Dusty with the leftover coin from the first two trades. Just a thought

Mostly stock standard here.
Def
Hibberd to return to pigging with May onboard.
Ellis to go at 100ppg in the guts
Happy to wait for Lloyd and Laird to drop.

Mids
Meh!

Rucks
Grundy is out if he misses 3-4weeks of training
Nank has improved almost every metric, every year of his career and should marginally again.
Happy to wait and watch with Gawn.

Fwd
Worpel is Oliver 2.0 ignore him at your peril

If it all goes pair shaped, I will just one up/one down some midpricers at round 6.

See you in the no trades thread round 20 ;)

Seriously though, interesting take! Give it a fairly low chance of working well but don't mind something different!
Nank I like
Hibbered not so much

Team starting to resemble something I'm happy with..
Maybe a couple of little changes, Crouch could be in for Beams, or Merrett if he's good to go round 1.

Bring on JLT.

Fort won’t play every game mate, you’ll be copping several donuts at R2 and much as I like the look of him, he’d have to have a Kelly-like season to be Top 6-8 in his category (your own metric).

I would imagine the idea is to upgrade him to a premo after 6-12 rounds. Doesn’t have to play every round, just get given a fair crack from the start.

Thought I better get a team done:

Birchall and Minchington are pretty much placeholders until I see the Round 1 teams and a few JLT games.

Trying to keep it purely GnR, with 3 premos in Defense. Started with 2 last year and an extra mid and it cost me lots of points.

I'd avoid Ellis, started with him last year. Was not pleasant.

I has to remove one of Brandon Ellis or Jeremy McGovern before round 1. Decided on Ellis being a running player so I thought he may be a tad more consistent. Gov had almost his best season and Ellis was gone before the round 3 price drop. He did become Elliot Yeo so it wasn't all doom and gloom.

I’d be avoiding Ellis until he proves he’s actually going to get a game to start with, finished last season outside our best 22. Moving back into the midfield could definitely be a postive though, averaged 100 and made the AA squad as a 21yo a few years ago playing on a wing. If he gets up and going could be a decent POD down the track

Any thoughts on Luke Dahlhaus and Aaron Francis?I wouldn't have them over for dinner , but I think there's more value than a truffle hog in Dahlhaus imo.

Probably Francis has more interest from me ...but at an awkward price, and he would only be picked on the back of his JLT Form

Dahl ....too many other better options IMHO

Francis I am considering as a starter and will watch over JLT. Could be a 90-95 D6 type.
Dahl I think his best days are behind him, but will see what his role is at the Cats over the first 6 rounds. Won't be starting him.

A truffle hog is pretty useless without truffles to harvest.

And I don’t see very many SC points for Dahl as a small fwd/mid, certainly not enough to finish as a top 10 forward.

Another point of difference player I like is James Sicily, sure, he has a couple of kangaroos loose in his top paddock and is no doubt as crazy as a soup sandwhich, but I think he could explode this year.He is pricey and I don't think he takes many kick ins, but he can score very highly. He may also get more midfield time.

Had the most kick ins for hawks despite missing heaps of games. Will Definitely be the designated kicker I would have thought!

Menegola —> Heeney or Dunks for me. Looks solid with a few 200k guys that may pay off. GL
