He seems truly versatile, I haven't seen his whole game so can't comment on his contest or pressure but is a very smooth mover. From YouTube videos I like him as a rebounding defender who can pinch a goal but he's got it all in front of him. Great size, physical attributes, skills and awareness.

Bowes is slow as crap too, just knows where everyone is and where they are going
flanders is a powerful mid like pertracca.
Was top 2-3 mids in the draft year..

Petracca wow .hehehe
TBH he's more of a forward and made his name up forward as a bottom ager.
Playing midfield in his top age year was more to showcase that he could play midfield, although he wasn't spreading much from the contest, more so just looking to get to the next contest as he's very much the inside bull as a midfielder, bit like a Lonergan.
As could be seen from last year in the seniors when he was barely sighted, he was either playing to some game plan or his tank wasn't good enough to get to the contests, which I think could impede his progress to becoming a midfielder. Same issue Petracca had, so a similar athletic type comparison.

Has the same issues Petracca had as a rook, just doesn't have the tank, more of a natural forward. He will be a bit more of slow burn but once he gets there watch out league

People laugh but Mac Willis' highlight package made him look seriously good. Streaming through the midfield with running bounces, delicate floating kicks and snapping goals from stoppages.

I wonder if Flanders is a risk to leave. Haven't really heard much about him or from him at all this year. Certainly he hasn't signed an extension yet.

Flanders is living with fellow vic country Ben Ainsworth and basically had the same path in their draft classes. I’m sure he’ll stay and want to improve

The Suns had one of our best trade periods in recent history. We lost no important players (that are going to drive our success). Picked players that can add to our list and have elite young players available in the upcoming draft. I know we all wanted a big fish but sometimes it can be more beneficial to build within. Looking forward to the draft.

If you have the awareness and ability to get past other players yes. But for players like Mitch Hallahan who dominated the VFL and was brilliant at hunting the ball his missing yard of pace cost him an chance to make it at AFL level
