Thanks.

Are there any players likely to ever qualify under the 200 game sanfl rule?
Not that I am aware of. A few years ago Peter Schwaz who played 200 games for Woodville had a son that we were interested in a bit, as he was in the SA U/18 squad and played a game or two for SA.

I like the look of Zane Trew, 184cm midfielder from Swan Districts.

Knightmare has this to say;

Zane Trew
A prolific ball-winner, Trew does his best work at stoppages, winning his own ball and tackling aggressively. He is a classy ball user who displays composure in traffic and with ball in hand, vision and is precise with his ball use by hand and foot. While Trew only appeared during the first three rounds of the WAFL Colts last season, his final match including 40 disposals and 10 tackles is one of several hints to suggest Trew may be the best midfielder outside Victoria.

Fun fact; has a pic of him and SPP up on his insta and I think his girlfriend is Jake Pasini’s sister (who we know is a Port Supporter).

Heres to hoping theres a Schofield connection somewhere in there as well.
I'd love a midfield of Drew and Trew.

I'm guessing WWT would be the club of choice for Port juniors like Mead, Burgoyne and Schofield due to its proximity to Alberton.

Although they have also produced Pudney, Frederick and now Jones, so they must be doing something right.

Not so much club of choice, but the allocated zone these days. No choice really.

Anyone got some footage of Lachlan Jones? Macca19?

What about our NGA? Does the club ever put out a list of who is in it??

The crows have a facebook account for their academies and on Monday 2nd December post they put a list of names approx 30 in each category for Boys Acceleration Squad (16-18 yo), Boys Elite Talent Squad (14-15 yo) and Girls Elite Talent Squad (14-15 yo) with the Girls Acceleration Squad (16-18 yo) will released in mid 2020.

Do we have the equivalent type info available somewhere?

The futures match is online which Jones was part of.

There is no list that i’m aware of. Like most things at the club at the moment, the attention to detail isnt there.

To rephrase, living near the Alberton area is the location of choice for their parents (especially Jarrad, for obvious reasons), so they end up at WWT.

Yep have a look at Port's old zones, are now part of WWT. Good thing its only 3 or 4 km down Port Road from Alberton Oval to Woodville Oval so those lads on Le Fevre Peninsula etc don't have travel that much extra.

Green = WWT, Red = NA, Very light blue top right = CD

Brown = WA, Yellow Glenelg, Light Blue = Sturt, very light brown = NWD

Have you ever noticed the intersection of WWT, West Adelaide and Glenelg’s zone are right where Henley High School is?

No I didn't.

But I did know that the WA zone moved closer to Henley High when they redrew the boundaries after 2013 and that WWT lost some players to WA who have attended Henley High.

I'm in two minds about Thilthorpe and whether he becomes a key forward, or whether he becomes a ruck at AFL level.

I'm a massive fan of this kid. Personally, I think he will be a forward. He knows where to run, excellent grab and kick. Tom Lynch-like.
He should be Ports number one target.
