If Buzza doesn't work out and Hoff retires, then there is a spot there for a fwd/ruck on the list.
There is a spot for a proper key forward to replace Dixon anyway. If Buzza doesn't work out and Hoff retires, then there is a spot there for a fwd/ruck on the list.
Will Pickett be eligible?
Which Pickett eligible for what?
We have a Pickett? Our Pickett... F/S or NGA I believe he is.
Shhh. Don't let the other clubs know.We have a Pickett?
From the article Garibaldi Red linked it said the following players will train with Ports as part of the AFL Academy program in a bid to prepare them for the next level.
Top-five draft contender Thilthorpe, Woodville-West Torrens’ Taj Schofield – the son of Power premiership player Jarrad Schofield and eligible to be picked as a father-son player – Eagles Henry Smith and Lachlan Jones and South Adelaide’s Zac Dumesny will train with Port.
Might keep a keen eye on Thilthorpe in 20202 based on what Tony Bamford said.
RILEY THILTHORPE (West Adelaide)
Key forward/ruck 17, 199cm, 95kg
Tony Bamford says: “Has already played well at league level and is a unique tall in that he is just as good at ground level as he is in the air. “He’ll probably play as a key forward in West’s league side early in the season and act as a forward and second ruck for us in the State under-18s. “He’s your modern, AFL style ruckman who can rack up 25 possessions.’’
I will watch his SANFL games he is in from the boundary line or the couch. Has the 2020 trade period already ended?Keep an eye from 100ks away - will be gone 20 picks before our first pick - or 40 if we use our second rounders on Schofield and Jones.

Worked well with rozeeI don’t know if this is true but it seems our recruiters spend more time on bottom ages and U 16s than other clubs- Rozee, Georgiades and Williams are good examples. None would have gone so high based only on their draft year.
Nah all clubs spend a lot of tim at U/16 and start watching kids from U/12 comps. You just listen to everything our recruiters say whereas you'd only hear bits and pieces of what the other 17 clubs say.I don’t know if this is true but it seems our recruiters spend more time on bottom ages and U 16s than other clubs- Rozee, Georgiades and Williams are good examples.
