Roast me ya filthy kents.
But seriously, lack of rookies means an extra one or two mid pricers then I would've liked. Rookies are all expensive ones. Naismith at R3 purely for cash generation. Yeo as a little bit of a POD. I think Kelly coming in would benefit him a lot.
Looks good too me! Iv got the same fwd line. Not sure about Naismith on the bench tho, could use the cash elsewhere imo

Pretty settled for now, think I've prepared for the number of rookies we'll actually receive, if luko fails will be an easy move to hill or doedee once ready or a missed rookie.
Always take a R/F, Ceglar this year, once you bat to F7 can effectively cover all lines bar defense via dpp. Luggage eyes:

Haha it does not look right, but hope they persist with big boy chb ploy till midyear and Ceglar will be at f7 soon afterHaving a R/F is always a good idea! But there is no way Ceglar should ever be in a SuperCoach team

first go at it.... all feedback welcome
This is what I've ended up with post Marsh series.
Laird - this used to be Houston until Port and Saints changed bye rounds, I've been on Roberton since the picker opened and something had to give, couldn't have 2 of my defs missing what is most likely going to be a best 22 round still.
Brodie Smith transitioning to the M/Fs under Nicks gives me faith the Laird will once again get all the chips and be able to push 105ppg.
Sicily is very handsome and cool. If you disagree please block me.
He is also very good at taking intercept CLUNKERS.
Doch is nice and cheap, don't expect him to be back to pre-knee level, but a 95+ ave is a big win for me.
Roberton is moving well and Saints were looking to use him even when he was in shit positions the other day. Taking him as a stepping stone that has a small chance of becoming a keeper. If his heart falls out again it doesn't even matter, because as the Demons showed last year you can play without one.
Both he and Doch have put up premo numbers before the new kick in rule came into place and bumped up defender scores for no reason.
Jack Macrae is made for fantasy football and plays in a team that racks up fantasy points.
Still not 100% on Cripps. Could still change to literally anyone, has been Dunkley most of the preseason. But this boy likes to go large early and I don't want to miss out. I still think Carlton will be really shit and he'll still be doing a lot of heavy lifting.
Dangerman is my #1 lock. Lock.
Olipig is an easy pick. People cried about him last year and he was still a top 10 scorer. No double shoulder surgery this year. Maybe no more Melbourne being total dogshit? Need to have a few rangas in my team so I know who to blame when things go wrong.
Dev Smith scored good, he cheap, everyone has him so, so do I. Can be swing fwd later, just need to get some shit rookies off the field so he's in the mids for now.
Grawndy, this game is about scoring the most points. So I am going to pick the 2 guys that score the most points and make them my VC and C most weeks. Thanks guys.
Please kill me my fwd line makes me wanna spew.
I had to cut Whitfield, I would of cut Dusty but that wouldn't leave me with enough money for rookie corrections.
Big on Greenwood, loved his role in the praccy games. I think he can tackle his way up to a respectable score most weeks, and if he ever hits a target he will score very well.
I've sledged Celgar and anyone that suggested picking Ceglar all preseason. But I am a coward and have selected him. I value DPP very, very highly. And it's not like I haven't carried a genuine dumpster truck ruck fwd in my team for majority of the year and still ranked well (Hi Westhoff). I still think Ceglar is terrible, but CD froth ruckmen ever since the hitout scoring changed and sometimes you've just gotta follow the CD Bois and their KOTD pets.
I swore I wouldn't pick Steven after he had an old man calf complaint (RIP Lids), but the scumbag AFL coaches have forced my hand by hating children and refusing to play them.

Swap Sicily for Helmet and a couple of rookies and thats my side
I’m comfortable enough with my below team.
I’ve spent some extra money on rookies and on bench as I think the aim of the game this year will be to be able to generate enough cash for upgrades.
Hence why I have Anderson etc as I believe he will play and make money. Those sorts of players can make money until the next crop of rookies show their faces.
No one really has all the answers until the real stuff comes around I guess.

Only thing stopping me from going oliver is he will cop a tag the first few weeksPremiums are essentially locked and loaded. Only toying with Dunkley to Yeo depending on rookie selections. If Xerri gets a gig I may chuck him into R3 for some cash gen/back up. That would also allow extra $$$ to take into the season or bring in a more expensive rookie somewhere if need be.
Laird, Doc and Houston are safe and common selections.
I have high hopes for the 3 defender rookies as well. Time will tell.
Cripps, Bont and Ollie have been in since SC opened. Automatic selections every season. Last year I swayed and didn't start Bont and it burnt me. Never again.
Neale will keep doing Neale things.
Dunkley is a star, but I have no issue starting Yeo instead as a bit of a POD if I absolutely have to.
Gawndy just has to happen because I didn't the past two seasons and never managed to correct it.
Whitfield and Martin up forward are a bit of a luxury.
Had Dev and Stev at F3 and F4 from opening day and kept chopping and changing, until yesterday. I expect them both to be keepers health permitting.
Some rookies will probably need to be tweaked but all in all i'm pretty happy with my list of premiums.
Another mediocre year is ahead though i'm sure.
