Mid price madness worked out ok for me last year so will rackem up again . Apart from Hannas my pod at this stage is not starting with Whitfield , no doubt he will end up top 3 fwd ( avge score )but he does miss 5 games per year on average over his career and last 3 years , but with a fit Kelly , Cogs and Ward taking mid minutes he may be close to fully priced imho and will pick him up during the year . Strong midfield and rucks. Backline looks pretty good too but im not a fan of starting 2 rookie forwards plus Hill. Maybe ill change my mind about that after the Marsh games though. What makes your team unique is the fact you are batting deep in your mids so i won't bother suggesting that you downgrade Hanners and upgrade a forward rookie but if you do decide to beef up your forwardline he is the obvious cull i suppose

Crisp, Gunston and De Goey are interesting PODs. All 3 have question marks but could definitely pay off.

Things I'd strongly suggest changing
- If you like Westhoff, pick him in the forward line
- Your defensive bench rookies won't play and neither will Ash. Highly recommend Gould and Young if you can get the funds and look at Starcevich who might be a chance. Woodcock also won't play, I'd suggest Hosie or McAdam instead. There's a chance some of the names I've given may not play but they seem the most likely at this stage.
- Better off downgrading Newnes to a rookie. I'll suggest Bonar, but Mahony, McHenry and Maginness are good options for cheaper. Newnes won't be a keeper and he's priced too highly to be a meaningful cash cow.

Bit of a different structure. Forwards are looking real bleak this year. Would love to get Michael Walters in there for Sloane if another midfield rookie or 2 pop up before the season starts. Have changed things up a bit since my first team - about $200K in the kitty.

The Gawn injury sent a few shivers down my spine - I'm not sure he'll be 100% for a few rounds and his price will drop and English will go up. If he finds form then will look at English > Gawn at some point.

I'm hoping that I've got 14 keepers on the field with a balance of cash generation and scoring.

Is that top 6 def? Probably, as there doesn't seem to be many outstanding defenders this year

Only 5 defenders av over a 100 last year.

Larid was 105 the year before.

Unsure who going to be top 6 Def.

Hard to fit everyone in at the start of the year.

Ona side note it is interesting that Whitfield who plays half back is a Mid/fwd after kicking 10 goals last year but Cogs who kicked 15 goals is just a Mid?
