Looks good. I dont mind that you dont have Houston and i love the Howe pick. I was actually tempted to do Houston -> Howe too but i like the flexibility Houston gives as that link to the midfield. Houston has temporarily ended up at M5 for me. Howe may come in for one of my other defenders though. Injury history is the worry. If he is fit then he is well underpriced. Your midfield looks great, rucks are awesome. Forwardine is pretty good too. Nice work

I'm really coming around to picking Narkle, he could end up being an inspired selection. I suppose the issue for me is that im only happy with the rest of my team if i put Narkle at M5. If he fails at M5 it may be hard to downgrade to a 4th rookie or find the cash to upgrade to a gun. That said, i may find a way to restructure and fit him in. For you though, at M6, behind 5 guns, he is an awesome fit. Your backline looks pretty good and i rate English highly, not quite high enough to pick him in SC though (although he is in my DT and AF, but i digress...)

I'm actually not going to say your forwardline is weak because all 4 of your mid-pricers are chances to become keepers. Yes, picking a Whitfield/Martin looks good on paper but there is some real value in the mid-priced forwards so it may end up being advantageous to avoid the guns and go for value. So yeah, i like it a lot. Honestly ill be rooting hard for Narkle, whether he ends up in my team or not.

It will be interesting to see what happens if any one of Rowell, Green or Pickett go down before R1. Seems like everyman and his dog is running with them at F6, 7 and 8. With the current sparse midfield rookie situation it's hard to see an easy plug in replacement for any of these three.
