Am I the only one who would trade Marshall for Ben brown in an instant. A target to take pressure of Dixon who can actually kick straight? There's 100 goals a year (in a normal year) between them and he's only 27.

You'd be surprised I think.
I wouldn't consider a trade for less.
Carltons 2nd round pick around 28 in real terms and my personal belief is Carton getting a better deal than Hawthorn did with Impey.

I don't get why getting Brown is a non starter, although I am not sure about trading Marshall. But I'd consider it. Gives us time to trade/draft another young Power forward and we have Georgiades and Ladhams developing. And Marshall if we got to retain him. I'm not sure I'd like what the asking price would be though.

Good old fashioned footballer , real warrior , bit old but still handy pick up. Couple of years in him for somebody.

Worst thing about trade period is people passing on info from "trade whisperer / shouter / insider" etc. Should be a banning offence.

They would be in a better position if they didn't offload first rounders for flakey players.
