Well she ticks two boxes - woman and minority so she will push for that as much as possible and people will vote just because it's so progressive to do so! She slept with San Francisco mayor Willie Brown to kick start her career (a man 30 years here senior). Her criminal justice record is less than stellar. Her points on key issues are ordinary and generic. Little chance. At least she isn't a fake minority like Warren.

Key difference is - Harris used it to get into a position of power and that position is used as "wow she is a great powerful independent woman!"

Just talked to my Republican brother in Illinois. He thinks at this stage that the only hope the Democrats have at the moment is Joe Biden(an old white guy) or Amy Klobucher( a white moderate woman) who can win back those 2016 Trump voters in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania. He doesn't think that the other candidates, no matter what race or religion, could beat Trump as of Feb 3, 2019, unless Trump is impeached. My brother is a RINO who did not vote for Trump in 2016. He held his nose and voted for Hillary. For next year he's undecided at the moment, but will vote for Trump if Biden or Klobucher isn't the nominee. I am taking him out of my will if he does that.

Oh yeah... he'd support Kasich in a primary against Trump. How RINO of him!

She needs to have the potential risk of Willie Brown commenting about starting her career for her on her knees in his office, like Monica, before she becomes president or the international integrity of the office would be even worse than Trump has made it. The president would be a laughing stock, jokes about how you can bend over the USA in a trade deal, or President Harris will "look after you" to get the deal done more on her terms.

She needs to shake it. If he is charged with corruption and literally kicked off her career it will tarnish her.

Need that sorted before the election so it doesn't come up at the last minute like the investigation into Clinton's destruction of evidence.

If it comes out during the campaign any adviser would be pointing at the hypocrisy of the democratic party who have used power for sex with younger office workers, profiting from that behavior and then acting as the virtuous standard for women. They would get torn to shreds.

Either bury it and hope it doesn't come out or investigate him as soon as possible.

It's a distinct possibility that I am right, and I haven't even discussed the possibility that she knowingly went into the arrangement in a quid pro quo. Strictly that he used his power and influence to manipulate a young lawyer freshly minted into a sexual relationship with a man thirty years older than her and then used his power and influence to place her into rewarding positions to pay her off.

It's entirely possible and there should be an investigation into it.

Mrs Trump isn't holding a political position, she isn't running for President.

I am enjoying you putting me into as many holes as possible to discount anything I have to say. A woman getting her start by sleeping with the boss is the exact wrong message to send little girls, it's the exact opposite of what feminism is all about and if it's a cultural thing inside the democratic party then it needs to be brought out into the light of day.

First woman President had to screw her boss for her start, get to work girls! The roadmap is now clear, the girls who go down get up in the workforce.

It needs to be investigated and if it turns out that Harris sought Brown out to seduce him into advancing her career I look forward to the gymnastics about how that is actually a strong woman getting hers by using what she has.

But my point all along is that if that were to come out when she is President it will ruin the entire reputation of the office, so they want to look into it before AND they need to look into it before the election so they don't drop it like Clinton's FBI investigation too close to the poll that it influences results.

Now is the time to do that, she is a genuine chance at the Democratic nomination, shit is real now.
