I didn't pretend anything. It's your comprehension skills that are at issue.
Your clear reluctance to condemn the gross incompetence of the goose in the White House tells everyone all they need to know.

This week he was given a golden opportunity to win over masses of voters by condemning a neo-Nazi group in the strongest possible terms. (Just to remind you, Nazis are very, very bad. Evil. Tens of millions of people died in World War II to save the world from them.)

He not only declined to condemn them, he appeared to encourage them.

Then, when pressed on it a day later, he denied any knowledge of them.

So he's either incompetent and/or a neo-Nazi sympathiser. There are no other possibilities.

This man is running for re-election. This is desperately serious.

And yet you're more concerned about correcting the historical record over one gaffe that his opponent made.

Can we expect literally pages and pages of posts from you addressing the issue of far greater concern? Answer that, and we can drop this.

Or do we just conclude that YOU support a man who is grossly incompetent and/or supportive of neo-Nazis?

You think I've never criticised Trump? You've either missed or ignored the numerous occasions where I have criticised Trump and his administration then. So one dimensional of you.

That's just up to April 19th this year. There's a number of more recent occasions but what I've just provided should be enough. The real problem here is leftists like yourself being unwilling to accept anything that paints Biden in a less than Messiah-like light.

LOL. Eight posts till April 19th this year. Somewhat less than you've expended here in a few days on one little slip by Biden that no-one gives a heck about because they have enough of a grasp on reality to realise that there is a way bigger concern - one that you're doing everything to avoid discussing.

I get it. You clearly invested quite a bit of your identity into this whacko Tea Party right wing wave that Trump rode all the way to the most powerful office in the world. Must have been quite euphoric at first.

Then the cracks began to appear. People with a bit of self-respect remaining saw the writing on the wall; saw Trump was a disgustingly immoral man, and dangerously incompetent to boot, and quietly withdrew their admiration for him, and hoped not too many people asked awkward questions. But you were in too deep.

Now no-one in their right mind would be supporting Trump but you're still a bit uncomfortable jumping ship because gee it was all so exciting there for a while. A rampaging idiot in the White House! How cool is that! So you ignore Trump's unwillingness to condemn neo-Nazis (Neo-Nazis! That's right. Neo-Nazis! Who would not grab the chance to condemn neo-Nazis?) and jump on trivial, inconsequential errors by his opponents.

And you have the nerve to think you're in any position to criticise "the left" (ie people who do think neo-Nazis should be condemned.)

Bye. Putting you on Ignore.

I had a look at the first post he quoted.

"I admit that Trump's choice of words at times in that press conference wasn't ideal and I'll also readily admit he's not the most tactful guy in the world."

Scathing criticism indeed. :D :D

I checked them all :(out, very scathing.:D

Like making excuses for a 4 year old.

Some discussion about this in the other thread.

I'm of the mind it's probably the right call myself, politically. Interested in what you would see as the upside if they maintained the fury?
They can ram home the point that trump is spreading the virus through incompetence. Its his fault. trump tried to make biden look weak for wearing masks all the time. NOw look how easily the virus can spread within a group if you dont use them. Biden has the opportunity to deliver the knockout blow to this election and laying the blame for the virus and its economic fall out on trump and he aint taking it.

It's not the WWE, it's politics.

If you actually wanted decency to be restored you'd be barracking for the raising of the standard, which is what Biden is doing.
Nah too much is at stake now. Biden wins the decency stakes as long as he is slightly more decent then trump. He gains nothing by being a lot more decent.

Cheers.

Yeah, I suppose if they made some new ones specifically targeting the corona incompetence it could play ok. Reckon I would still hold off on the more general, non-covid specific ads though.

President Trump has a bit of work to do.With 3 weeks left before the Presidential Election.Doesnt look at energised as in 2016.A spike in the polls might give the Donald a boost
