Swans have two midfielders as academy players. If they get Daniher not sure they go tall in the forward line. Especially with McCartin ang Blakey. DGB is a good fit for them.

Hawthorn are an interesting one. Clarkson is hell bend on not rebuilding. They may not be patient and go with a small who can play straight away.

North’s board sacked Scott because Scott wanted to rebuild. Shaw felt the list is ready to play finals. They have 2 first picks and may go tall with the later first rounder.
What happened to Patton?
Was it a knee again or something else?

Just looked it up a bad hamstring- don’t know if they will go to the draft for a KPF?
They are pretty flush for mids, I reckon/hope inside mids and half backs?
Clarkson and myself have two different views on Hawthorn.

Clarkson still believes if he can get in a Proven star or two they will be playing for a flag ie Cameron

My view, is that should be going hard at the draft and go best player available.

As stated before, only Roughead and Franklin were drafted and the other talls traded in or free agency.

By the way, the List manager was sacked after the Franklin and Roughead draft.

My feelings is that the Hawks will try get Cameron.

We could probably use some size in the middle. Cerra and AB arent small but with Fyfe spending more time forward and Mundy nearly done I wouldnt be unhappy with O'Driscoll. Looks to be more than 190cm now and could be the last piece of the midfield puzzle.

First choice still McDonald but hard to see us getting him now
O’Driscoll would be great to watch develop. Inside mids not a priority, but his aggressive style And booming kick makes him an attacking option.

Cameron would laugh in their face. Why would you go there now? 5 years too late.

A lot of the endurance impact athletes are down in form this season. Nick Reiwoldt would be looking pretty poor not being able to burn out his opponent for an extra 20% of game time too.

But it means younger players can impact longer.
I'd say close, but probably slightly more accurate way to put it is that a weapon some key forwards can use to combat highly structured defensive systems (burning them off) has been blunted by shorter quarters.

The AFL has reserved the right to make a case by case judgement on adopted father son players.
What if say a player (lets call him Bonnor Clakely) plays 100 games with us and is found to be the biological father of another player's son/daughter. Would they be eligible for us?

From reading this, I think the points deduction will be removed from next year but we should still have access to the highly rated ones for another year
