Okay so I rocked up at training at 9:30, boys were warming up then got straight into conditioning was split into 2 groups. One group was doing suicides which was the main group while the other small group doing 150m runs and 50 recovery. TT looked like he was dying in the main group. I over heard Ronnie say he feels like he is under done doing a 7.20 2km.

they got into groups doing touch work, can’t remember much got a bit distracted lol

then they went into a drill where you’d kick to advantage on the wing and take a couple of bounces. To me the bull stood out, this bloke is bulky but fast as ****, Josh walkers kicking stood out and TT looks explosive. a few kicks to disadvantage but I see a lot of improvement with lowering our eyes into the 50.

WAP was running laps.

I didn’t really focus on individual players rather let the players be stand outs and for the rest of the session these were the stand outs

Atu: this guy is a tackling machine, explosive out of the stoppage and was involved in great link up play

Bergman: elite kicking, he plucked Xerri out in a 2v1 and his run of the mark is very fast he burnt the players.

Kyron: second efforts are the best, tackling machine, in congestion he somehow got a bullet kick out which was elite.

greenwood: a lot of leadership and really set the standard.

Goldy: the leadership oozes out of this bloke.

Jyzer: ripping nick, loves to bully the big blokes.

Eddie Mazda: can’t fault his effort.

Matt McGuinness: his kicking really stood out to me.

Paul Curtis: fast and has a great kick.

tommy Powell: just clean with the ball.

Those were the players that stood out to me, I can’t fault the intensity that was just consistent throughout the whole training session and it was stinking hot.

Jacob edwards still has a long way to go can’t see him getting a call up even towards the end of the year, has a lot to learn.

Bonar did a shit load of running.

coops looked like a first year player already, it’s crazy how his draft year is this year, his development is mad
